December 2021 New In

Well once again that trying not to spend a right lot of money during the month didn't really go to plan. I had high hopes that in December I wasn't going to spend much on myself and actually spend money on family for gifts, granted I did get plenty of gifts for others but it is very safe to say that I definitely spoilt myself along the way. So here is what I purchased throughout the month of December...

I wasn't going to buy any more workout clothes this month however, I made full use of the extended Black Friday deals on MyProtein I picked up a t-shirt for just a few pounds which is going to be the perfect addition as I start to work out even more once again. I also picked up some joggers for working out in for just £5 which are a bit tight at the moment but I can't wait to get wearing them.

With the deals on I also made the most of them and picked up a few new shakers, I definitely didn't need any more shakers as the cupboard is currently full of them however, I absolutely love the black and pink lift & move ones. Surprisingly I think I like the pink one the most.

I have been wanting to try the Pre-Workout from MyProtein for the longest time but couldn't justify the price they wanted for it so when I had the huge discount I made the most of it and picked up both The Pre-Workout & The Pump as I had been wanting to try them both. I can't wait to get back working out properly so I can get drinking these before sessions.

I ran out of layered bars a while a go and never got stocked back up so I finally picked up a box with this order. I got used to the cookies and wafers but the layered bars are still my favourites so it was about time I got some more. I don't think these will last very long though as they are certainly gorgeous and I always find myself wanting more.

I am running low on my Vimto multivitamins so whilst the deals were on I decided to get some of the normal ones just to make sure I am always well stocked up if others get as low as my Vimto ones have. It has been nice getting vitamins back into my routine as they have been missing for so long and these ones are perfect me as they are gummy ones.

My cupboard always has multiple tubs of clear whey in as I go through these really quickly so whilst it was a lot cheaper than normal I got another tub just to make sure that I never run out and have a variety of options rather than just one flavour at a time. I haven't had the blood orange one before so I can't wait to try this.

I think I have developed a bit of a problem in 2021... buying footballs, I have actually lost count of how many I have purchased this year but I don't mind as they all look great and are part of a bit of a project I am starting very soon (more on that later). As soon as I saw this Women's Super League one on the Argos website I knew it was going to be purchased as it is rare you find Women's Super League merchandise out in the wild. At £12.99 it was an absolute bargain.

I have been on the look out for a nice simple carafe for a while now and I finally found one at Ikea for just £1. This was an absolute bargain and I can't wait to get using it soon, this is going to be the perfect addition to the dining table on a meal time.

We are seriously lacking on whisky glasses at our house and to say how much I love a good glass of whisky it needed to change so whilst in Ikea I ended up falling in love with these simple glasses for just £1.50 each. There is a fair bit of weigh to these glasses too and they are a bit thicker than usual so hopefully they won't crack as easy as previous ones.

If you know me you will know just how much I love Stitch, the house is filled with Stitch merchandise and this year I seem to have fallen in love with Starbucks thanks to Liam and his new found love for white mochas. So when I was away and I saw this Stitch Starbucks cup I knew I needed to add it to the ever growing collection. I absolutely love this cup and it won't just be getting saved for Christmas.

When I got my Stitch cup I also got me and Liam this wine set from the same place. One of his favourite movies is Nightmare Before Christmas so I knew that he would like this and to be honest it was a lot cheaper than I expected it to be. The wine glasses look great with the characters on but my favourite is definitely the wine bottle as it has some really cute lights inside it so it looks fantastic lighting up the games room at the moment.

I got some black Converse for Christmas last year so I really wasn't expecting to buy any new ones this year however, as soon as Schuh posted that they were going to be selling Pokemon Converse I knew I needed to purchase a pair as they have all my favourite Pokemon on them. As soon as they launched I managed to purchase a pair and they arrived next day looking even better than I expected.

With me being a huge Bradford City fan as soon as I saw these Nike Dunks I knew I needed them. My mum actually sent me a picture of these and I don't think she expected me to be spending £105 on a pair of shoes just a few days after she sent the picture. I just need to get some Crep shields then I can finally get wearing these, I am just determined not to ruin them.

The Spider-Man obsession continued to grow throughout December and with the completion of the games room I added yet another item to the Spider-Man shelf. I have a Batman one of these lights already on our DC shelf alongside a Joker one so as soon as I saw the Spider-Man one I knew I had to have it. It looks amazing on the shelf already.

It has been a while since I put some money onto my Steam account but with sales coming up for the festive period I knew that I could do with some extra money on my account as a lot of my wish list seems to be going on sale lately and it is finally time to pick up a few new PC games.

At long last I finally have my hands on the latest Pokemon game, as I said earlier I love Pokemon so this has been a long time coming and I finally picked it up whilst I was away. It has been a while since I have picked up a new Pokemon game so close to launch and it is about time I played on my Switch a lot more so I can't wait to get stuck into this. Let's hope I can make some good progress in this game before the next Pokemon one comes out.

So there we go, I am hoping that I can really reign back my spending in 2022 as I have plenty I want to get saving for but it is safe to say I have enjoyed treating myself this month and I don't feel guilty about it at all. 2022 is going to be a year of useful purchases rather than wasting money and I can't wait to see how I do with those purchases.
