Fashion Inspo : Abby wambach

Yet another footballer whose style I absolutely adore is Abby Wambach. Abby has now retired from the USWNT but I honestly still believe she is the greatest forward in history, it will be hard for anyone to become as good of a player as she is. Not only did Abby play brilliantly but she also has some an amazing sense of fashion. Her style is mainly androgynous but she pulls it off so well. Here are a few of my favourite looks that I would love to recreate myself.

I love the skinny pants and blazer combination, especially with the bright shoes and white t-shirt just breaking the outfit up a little. I also love the little white pocket square in the blazer to match the t-shirt. I would love to wear outfits like this for work / a little smarter events but I really want to lose the weight and be comfortable in my body before doing so.

Abby's outift above is one of my favourites lately. A printed t-shirt, grey skinny jeans and a leather jacket mixed with some hi-top shoes. The aviator type of sunglasses accessorise the outfit perfectly and the combination of colours work really well together. I live in grey skinny jeans lately and usually wear plain t-shirts with these which work really well. I am also hoping to find a good fitting leather jacket soon so I can recreate an outfit in this style for myself.  It just looks so casual while having stylish smarter look too.

My final favourite is yet more sunglasses and skinny jeans, however this time it is for the warmer / cooler weather. The light coloured muscle type of tank top mixed with the darker jeans looks brilliant and the scarf and shoes just add a little bit of colour to the outfit. I am hoping that I am a bit more confident with my body by the time the warmer weather arrives. If that is the case this will possibly be one of my go to looks for the summer.

What is your favourite look from the images above?

Current Favourite YouTubers

I went through a stage a few years ago where I would just watch YouTube, no normal TV just a variety of different YouTubers. I had anything related to Grace Helbig or Hannah Hart that I could get my hands on. However I started watching Netflix and YouTube got neglected, but I have noticed recently I am watching it a lot more. So here are some of my favourite YouTubers at the moment.

I first discovered Jim whilst I was watching some of Tanya's videos. However lately I only watch the odd few Tanya videos but watch every single one of Jim's. He has a good variety of content and is actually very entertaining. His fashion sense is also brilliant so I love watching every single one of his fashion videos too. I really need to give his book a go too. I think Jim is a YouTuber I will continue watching until he eventually stops posting new videos, I look forward to seeing what 2018 has in store for him.

Justine is one of the first YouTubers I ever watched. I honestly don't know which type of videos I prefer of Justine's, not only does she do food videos she also does tech and gaming ones. If I think about it properly my favourite ones could be the Call of Duty videos she does as she is just like me in the way she reacts to getting killed and winning. She has also started posting more videos with her sister which are hilarious. Justine's videos are always the ones I keep an eye out for in my subscription box.

Now this channel is such a good one for anyone who plays football (soccer), they cover all the problem areas for a female footballer in a very funny way. Each video gets you laughing and I genuinely look forward to new uploads. I won't speak too much about this channel as I may have something very special coming up in the near future. But if you like anything football related then definitely go check out some of their videos.

Now I have saved one of my favourites until last. I came across Kyle whilst watching interviews of his sister on YouTube. His sister is Ali Krieger of Orlando Pride and the USWNT so I sort of fell into a black hole of watching her interviews and other team mates. That is when I came across Kyle and instantly fell in love with his channel. Kyle is also a hairdresser so I love heading over to his channel and finding out new styling tips. His get ready with me videos are also fantastic and it is great to get an insight on the products he uses himself. I am also going to go back through all of his health and fitness videos and hopefully get some inspiration for my own workouts. Kyle recently got accepted to film school so I can't wait to see how that works out for him, I also hope he gets a few more videos with members of the USWNT as the ones with Ali and Ashlyn Harris are brilliant. I really hope 2018 is a great year for Kyle and I just wish there was a way to get him on the blog as a little interview as he is such a great guy with a great future ahead of him.

So there you have it those are my current favourites who are yours? Is there anyone I should be watching? Let me know in the comments.

What's In My Bag 2018

I last did this post back in March 2017 which you can read here. To be honest a few items have stayed the same but as my Harry Potter bag which I got for Christmas has started to be used and is quite a bit smaller than my Batman bag I thought I would give you an update on what I carry around with me.

The bag is what my auntie got me for Christmas and is a drawstring backpack. I love this as it is the perfect size for me, it isn't too big and bulky but I can fit in what I need. I also love the fact it is Harry Potter as I am in love with the whole franchise, as most of my Christmas presents showed.

In my bag I always have a notepad, this is because I never know when I will get an idea for a post. Plus I much prefer pen and paper over using my phone, I also use this to draft out posts as well as just ideas.

I also carry around a diary, again as I prefer pen and paper. This diary is the perfect size for me and one of my presents from my mum, she never fails to get me a good diary especially with the funny sayings on the front. My glasses case always comes out with me as sometimes I just get sick of wearing my glasses. My iPod also comes everywhere with me as I can't stand the music my family listens to in the car so it is my perfect escape.

Again I am trying to read more this year ( I said the same last year but this year I will stick to it) so in my bag I currently have my Alex Morgan book. I have a lot of football books to get through this year and this is one of the big ones I have wanted to read. I am hoping having it in my bag will help me read it a lot faster.

Also in my bag I have the essentials a pack of tissues, my keys, some ibuprofen just in case and a little can of hairspray for any hair emergencies. My phone and wallet tend to stay in my pockets along with my gloves so they are easily accessible.

So there you have it that is what is in my bag lately. What do you carry in yours?

Top 5 Current WWE Wrestlers

2017 was a year where I got hooked on the WWE. I even managed to get to go see it live which you can read about here. When we went to see it we got chance to see the Smackdown roster which to be honest I was quite glad as it had some of my favourites wrestling, however after sitting to write this post I have realised that 3/5 of my favourites are in fact on the Raw roster. I am hoping that if we go again I get to see some of the Raw wrestlers. So here are my top 5 current WWE wrestlers....

Roman Reigns is one of the first wrestlers I fell in love with when I started watching the WWE again. He is definetly one of those wrestlers you either love or you hate. I love him whereas Liam isn't keen, the only issue with Roman is he isn't very good at promo but he is a great wrestler. Maybe if he got chance to cut more promos and work on how they are delivered more people would like him. The big dog though for me is just brilliant.

The Lunatic fringe Dean Ambrose. I think one of the main reasons I love him is due to how much of a lunatic he really is, no-one stands in his way. I loved his recent little feud with the Miz (a wrestler who just missed out on my top 5). I am just hoping that his injury doesn't sideline him for too long as he was doing great especially now the Shield has reformed. Let's just hope that when he does come back the Shield storyline really picks up again.

The Usos are one of the only tag teams I enjoy watching and their feud with The New Day was fantastic. One of my standouts was definitely the Usos and The New Day doing their little wrap battle, which in my opinion the Usos definitely won. Not only do Jimmy and Jey  have brilliant chemistry within the ring but they are also brilliant with promos and really hyping up the match. I am really hoping they get more brilliant opportunities through 2018. I was so glad when I got to see them in 2017.

The 5 feet of fury that is Alexa Bliss is in my opinion the best female wrestler currently on the Raw roster (only just beating Paige), she can cut a brilliant promo and her ability in the ring is also brilliant she is a true champion in my eyes. The attitude she adds to her character is also fantastic as along with her look she really adds the attitude and uniqueness which she definitely carries. I can't wait to see more of Alexa in 2018 and I especially can't wait to see what is in store for Team Rude (Alexa and Nia) especially with the first ever Women's royal rumble approaching.

I would honestly say overall Becky Lynch is my favourite female wrestler, when I saw she was on the card for when we went to WWE live I was so excited but also a little upset as it meant I couldn't go to her store signing that same day. Becky is great on the mic and is absolutely fantastic in the ring, I really hope that 2018 is the year she has a title shot (and hopefully wins it), her friendship with Charlotte is brilliant but more matches between the 2 of them would be fantastic. I loved how she had a chance to take on James Ellsworth last year and actually won (there was no question that she would lose really). Becky has recently been filming the latest Marine film with the Miz so I really can't wait for that either.

So there you have it those are my top 5 wwe wrestlers at the moment. If you watch WWE who are yours?

See you soon

2018 Plans

2017 was an OK year however I am hoping 2018 is bigger and better. There are a few things I want to improve on from last year and some new things I want to start. Me and Liam are hoping to finally get a deposit together and move in to our own house, this will be great for the both of us as we will have been together 7 years in February. Even though I am wanting to move out I do still want to try travel a lot more in 2018 as 2017 was just travelling to football matches or concerts.

I am also hoping to look after myself a lot better, my skin got really bad towards the end of the year and I have had terrible breakouts so I want 2018 to be the year I get into a real routine with skincare. I am also determined to lose this weight, this will mean eating better, planning food better and actually sticking to it. 2017 saw me complete my physio on my knee but I still have problems, I am hoping if I lose the weight my knee will get a bit better and also that the gym will help it too. If this all goes to plan then I will be back playing football in 2018 too. People say I can't do it but I will show them.

Now the big one blogging. 2017 I slacked off a little and didn't post as much as I wanted so this will be changing. I am also going to plan my posts better so I aren't rushing to get posts online. 2018 will also be the year I work on my photography a lot more, it is the side of my blog that I seriously neglect, with me wanting to post on Instagram a lot more too it is something I really want to work on. I want to add a little more variety with the blog too, I want to try add concert reviews, travel and even a little food to it too, just to change it up a little.

Finally a big thing for me for 2018 is to push myself a little more, I made some amazing friends in 2017 and would love to meet up with them. I met up with some online friends last year and I absolutely loved it so I am hoping to do this again.

What are you hoping to get out of 2018? Let me know.
