Grapple Wrestling

As I have said in previous posts I am absolutely hooked on wrestling again. So as soon as my nanna informed me that Grapple wrestling was back in Bradford at only £10.00 a ticket I wasn't going to miss it.

I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the line up, now I have seen Sean Only before so I was glad that he was back. Another one I have seen before is WWE UK star Saxon Huxley aka the muscle cat, then Ruby Summers was also on so that made it even better as I have been searching for local events with her in for ages. I love the local events as there is some really great talents on the UK scene.

At £10 each it was great for me and Liam to spend just a couple of hours together, it is also great fun for all the family there was real mix of ages in the crowd. It is also great how the audience really gets involved. I can't wait to go see it again and hopefully I will be off to see WWE live in November.

Below are just a few images I took as I wanted to fully enjoy the night and not sit looking on my phone all night.....

Do you go to any UK wrestling events? I would love more to watch, so let me know in the comments below.

Tattoos So Far

I had wanted to get tattoos for a very long time, I always said I was going to get one so when I was 19 I finally took the plunge and got my first. I was expecting pain but honestly it wasn't bad at all. Once I had got the first that was it I instantly wanted more, here is what I have so far

The tattoo above was my first, it is Tegan and Sara lyrics from one of my favourite songs Someday. I don't really want to go into too much detail on this one however it has so much meaning to me personally and I am so glad I got it.

Disney tattoo

The second I got the day after my 21st birthday. Stitch has always been a huge part of my life and the Ohana quote is perfect for the reason behind this tattoo. I always said I was going to get a Disney tattoo growing up and without a shadow of a doubt it was always going to be Stitch.

My 3rd tattoo came last August. Again this is more Tegan and Sara lyrics from the song Clever Meals. This song is such a great song and a real stand out song in regards to my life and the direction it was heading at the time. The tree is also inspired by Tegan Quin, Tegan has a tree fully alive on her arm I loved the design but fancied changing it up a little so I had my tattooist do a dead tree, which I instantly loved.

With my fourth tattoo me and Liam decided to get matching. I got the red lightsaber and he got the green. Star Wars is something we both love and always have done, we always sit and watch it together. We also always say he is the light side and I am the dark side due to our personalities and how we side during the films.

So there you have it that is my current lot of tattoos. I am hoping to add to them very soon so keep your eyes on the blog.

This week #6

This week has been a fun one. As you might have seen on Twitter / Instagram I have finally dyed my hair. It is cosmic blue but doesn't really show on pictures. I also went to see more wrestling because I am totally hooked. Other than that not too much has gone on other than work and spending time with Liam and in the gym.

Been watching : This week has been all about wrestling, I watched it live in Bradford but have also watched all season one of Total Bella's and quite a bit of Total Diva's.

Been reading : This week all I have read is the PlayStation magazine and blogs.

Been playing : I got back into playing Call of Duty this week but really want to start a few more games over the next week.

Been listening to : I am hooked on Nickelback's new album especially song on fire.

Bought : I finally did it I bought the Squirtle from Build a Bear, I have also bought a few wrestling t-shirts to add to my collection.

So there you have it that was my week. What have you guys been up to?

See you later,

Lucy

Fashion Inspo : Ruby Rose

As you may have noticed by now I really do prefer a more tomboyish look. Ruby Rose is one of those who I have always been in awe of her style and overall look.
The way she can have a masculine one day and feminine style another is how I have been feeling very frequently i never know what type of mood I will wake up in, but I will explain that more in another post.

Here are just a few looks of Ruby's that I can't wait to try for my self.

I love the hairstyle on this one, the shaved line really making the hair stand out. I also love the unbuttoned shirt and jeans look. As I have said in past posts I love the shirts and jeans combo but really want to loose weight and invest in some really good quality shirts and jeans for a change. The sunglasses just finish off the look for me as sunglasses are something I am obsessed with and I believe that sunglasses are a perfect accessory to any outfit.

Another one of Ruby's looks I love is the tight pants, blazer and printed t-shirt. It is so easy to pull off but she does it so well. Again the sunglasses are the perfect accessory to the outfit. The outfit is also quite smart meaning it is perfect for many occasions.

I love Ruby's casual outfits and this is one of my favourites.  I love hi-top shoes they are honestly some of my favourite kinds of shoes. The shorts are nice and baggy perfect for warm weather especially like we are having in the uk. Then with the white top under an open sleeveless flannel shirt just adds to it. I think with the outfit and how she has her hair and sunglasses she just looks like she has a little bit of a rebel attitude, which I would love to be able to pull off.

The final outfit is the black hi-tops, super skinny jeans printed top and a loud patterned shirt. Now this is one I really wish I could pull off however at the moment I don't really have the confidence for a loud print but I am hoping once the weight has dropped off and I reach the body goals, that this is something I could experiment with wearing.  I would also probably need to invest in some new shoes for this and definitely invest in some good quality jeans.

So there you have it. There is another one of my fashion inspirations. What do you think to Ruby's style?

See you soon,
Lucy :)

Body goals

I am over weight I now accept that, it has taken a while but now I know I have to do something about it. I used to be a small in clothing and super fit, now I am an xl and get out of breath just walking from one room to another. This has been due to injuries and me having a total lack of moderation within my diet. It is junk food or no food. It is is quick and easy I will have it, if it is healthy or anyway good for you I will pass.

Now it is time for making me change. I am back in the gym and I will get my eating under control. I am going to be documenting my weight loss on here which will include what I have done in the week to loose the weight, along with the exact amount I have lost both each week and overall .

Recently I have also been thinking about what my overall target will be, I want to loose around 5 stone to get to my goal weight. However at the same time I want to gain a similar physique to Becky Lynch from WWE as pictured above. I have always wanted a toned and defined figure but like I said at the start of the post I have really let myself go. I know this is going to take a very long time and a lot of determination but I am willing to become the best I can be.

I am ready to spend most of my free time in the gym and eating the best I can do and I can't wait to put all this into action. So keep checking back for weekly updates and join me on this journey to getting the Becky Lynch body.

See you soon

Got2b Glued

Do you ever fall out of love with a product but then suddenly rediscover it? That is exactly what I did with the Got2b glued spray. I fell out of love with this spray a few years back as it just didn't seem to be getting the job done right.

I first got the product after stealing a can of my sisters and I stuck with the spray for quite a few months. Then it seemed to stop working, my hair would easily slip out of place and there just seemed to be no hold at all. I began to think that maybe my hair had just got used to the spray so I switched it around and never looked back. But then I swapped from a hairdressers to a barbers due to the type of cut I get, at the barbers they used the Got2b and it was like I had discovered for the first time. When they barber used it I was reminded of the nice smell the product has (or at least I believe it does), I also noticed my hair didn't feel solid and was actually in place. Now when this had been done I went out around 10 hours after having my hair done it didn't move at all. In fact the next morning my hair was basically the same.

As I have said in previous hair posts the spray has to be easy to wash out. Teamed with my Vo5 clean up shampoo and conditioner it has never been simpler to get the product removed from my hair. It also leaves no white bits in my hair which is another perk. I usually go through a can of hairspray every 2 weeks so the fact this cost me around £3.00 and is still going for around another week after 3 weeks use is an added bonus.

I would seriously recommend giving this hairspray a try. Do you have any others I should try? Let me know in the comments below.

See you soon,
Lucy :)

Fashion inspirations - Kate Moennig

Kate Moennig is someone whose style I have admired for quite a while now. The fact it isn't too feminine and not too manly it is basically the perfect mix for me. I have said in the past how I am far from girly however from time to time I like adding a feminine touch to my outfits. Here are two of my favourite looks by Kate, that I can't wait to try recreate.

First up is the leather jacket / blazer open over a loose fitting t-shirt paired with some boots and skinny jeans. This has been one of my favourite looks for a while. At the moment I wear a cheap blazer with a round neck t shirt and converse. However I am hoping to save up for a good quality blazer once I have lost some weight and also some good quality skinny jeans. Shoe wise I am sick of wearing my converse day in day out so I am looking for some boots to finish the style. I also love the way she wears the long necklaces just to add a bit extra to an otherwise basic look.

The outfit is perfect for a smart casual day or even if you are heading for a bit of a casual night out. Maybe if you are heading to a concert or a night in the pubs. At the moment I will only wear round neck tops as I hate the skin on my chest but I am working on that so hopefully I can fully recreate the outfit one day.

Another look I love that Kate often goes for it the shirt and dress pants. This look to me is perfect for things such as meetings / events or those parties that require a little more effort but not too over the top. The pattern shirt makes the outfit stand out whilst still looking smart and the pants add a smarter look than jeans would. I am hoping that once I loose weight I will be able to get some nice fitting trousers and shirts to try pull off a look like this when I head to a wedding later in the year. I also love how the colours always go together as at the moment I am a nightmare and literally just throw any combination together.

Kate's style is one I am really aiming for due to the easiness of the look. It isn't one that will take hours to perfect. It is also a look that you can make more feminine if I am in that mood. I am hoping in the next few months once the weight has started falling I can start piecing together outfits just like these.

Do you have anyone whose style you admire? Let me know in the comments below.
See you soon,
Lucy :)

This week #5

This week has been a pretty good one. I have spent time with my family as my little sister has been away, spending time with them alone has been great. It was this week when the new Bradford City shirt was released. At 5pm on Wednesday I was sat glued to my phone waiting for the reveal and it really didn't disappoint. The image above is the result of the reveal, I can't wait to get my hands on my own and to see the away and third shirts. So here is what else I have been up to this week.

Been watching : I managed to get caught up on the WWE extreme rules pay per view. Some matches were great but I felt let down by the Bayley and Alexa Bliss match. The fatal five way was great.

Been reading : All I have read this week is blogs once again. I really need to try get through my backlog of books but it just isn't happening.

Been playing : I have played so many matches on WWE this week. I am hoping to try start a few new games soon.

Been listening to : To be honest I haven't listened to much music other than Tegan and Sara and Heart Fm this week whilst working.

Bought : I have actually been good this week. I bought Horizon Zero Dawn with it been on offer, a new blanket and some nail biting stuff to try help me stop biting them and let them grow.

So there you have it that was my week. What have you guys been up to?

See you later,

L'oreal Men Expert Tattoo Reviver

tattoo reviver

Having a few tattoo's including one that hasn't healed very well, I was so happy to see this product on the shelves.

The packaging is what first drew me to it. I was in boots and I wondered what it was. As soon as I saw it was a tattoo reviver I had to buy it. The packaging itself is great it stands out and the tattoo style design really adds to the packaging.

Now my tattoos aren't exactly old however I want to keep them looking as good as I can as long as possible and want to keep them from fading. I have noticed my tattoos are still looking very bold and prominent. Another plus side for this is it soaks into the skin very quickly so you don't have to wait ages for it to dry to put your clothing on.  It isn't a runny consistency either and a little does go a long way.

Tattoo reviver

My skin is also feeling super soft after using this. It is basically one of the only items I remember to use daily and has become a staple piece in my routine. This is actually my second bottle and I have another as a spare. I would highly recommend this product if you have tattoos. You can get the product from Boots, Superdrug it's rrp is £7.99 however they do have some great offers on the products at times.

Have you tried the product or anything similar? Let me know in the comments below.
