March 2022 New In

When I look at this post I think to myself, wow I have actually been good this month and not spent a fortune... but then I look at my bank account and that tells a totally different story. I think most of my money went on eating out if I am honest but I did pick up a few bits to treat myself and also help me convert my spare room into an office/ productive space for me to create content from. It has been nice getting items I actually need and am going to use rather than spending for the sake of it. So here is what I picked up throughout the month of March...

First up my mum has got on board with mine and Liam's new project and made us a mug and a key ring with the logo on. I love how these have turned out and I am hoping I can get a few more bits made by her in the near future as she is great with what she is doing and I have a few ideas in mind of bits I would like to have made.

2 years have flown by since I got my iPhone 11 but it was finally time to upgrade my phone contract and to be honest it is probably the quickest decision I have ever made when it comes to picking a new phone. I knew straight away I wanted the iPhone 13 Pro and after a few weeks of using it I think it is safe to say I have made the right choice as the camera on this alone is absolutely amazing.

Of course with a new phone I needed a new case and I once again opted for a Spigen case. I have found that these are really protective of my device and with my iPhone 11 I had 2 years of no damage down to the case. When it came to picking a case for my new phone the brand was the only one I considered.

As part of the spare room transformation I needed a desk so I ended up opting for an Ikea table top and 4 simple legs as I wanted to do the transformation on a budget and I knew this would be a cheap but good option as I use it in the games room too. This desk turned out to be the perfect size for the room.

I finally invested in a ring light which is certainly going to come in handy for some of the content I am creating for my other blogs and even our new projects. This one was pretty cheap but it is actually great quality and has a RGB setting which is a brilliant option to have.

When I got the other ring light I saw this clip on one for around £10 and I knew that I might as well grab this one too as it could come in very handy for the new project especially if I want to pack light when going and shooting images. This slots onto my tripod easily and doesn't take up much space at all.

Finally for the tech stuff  I have got an overhead mount that just clips on my desk. I have wanted one of these for a while but kept on putting it off due to me not having the space but now with the spare room transformed the new desk was the perfect space to have this permanently set up. I am impressed with this and cant wait to get using it a whole lot more.

A new stall opened in our local market and me and my sister took full advantage of what they had to offer. I love my bath bombs so I had to get this game controller one and I am really starting to love wax melts so I got these Vicks ones as they smelt nice and will come in handy for helping clear any colds I have. I also got this sponge and soap set as the scent is Sauvage which I can't get enough of and it looks like it will last me a while. I also got some Alien & Creed bath salts which I am looking forward to using.

A lot of people has been wearing these Primark cargos on Instagram and I loved how they looked so I had to hunt down a pair for myself. I finally managed to find a black pair in my size and I absolutely love them. For £15 they were a bargain and now I need to find them in other colours too.

Whilst I was getting my cargos I came across these smart looking cuffed joggers. I quite liked how these looked and they are totally different to what I would usually buy but as I look to step out of my comfort zone a bit more I think these will be great for the warmer weather especially during spring. I might have to look for these in different colours too.

There is a shop by ours that sells clothes for £3 from the likes of Boohoo & Pretty Little Thing so when my mum told me they had some men's items in stock I knew I had to head down and see what I could find and I ended up spending £24 on pieces. First up I got this back printed Tokyo top with a small print on the front too. I love how this looks and I think I will be wearing it a lot in Spring.

Next up we have this car print t-shirt which is definitely my favourite. I love this and have worn it a few times already and it fits perfectly. The print on this is nice and bold and definitely catches your eye in a very good way. I definitely want more t-shirts like this in the future as it is easy to style.

I found these tracksuit bottoms whilst in the shop too and honestly you can't ever have too many pairs of tracksuit bottoms in my eyes. I love the colour of these as they are different to other pairs I own and I can't wait to get wearing them. Apparently they were also selling the matching hoodies so I am a bit gutted that I missed out on those.

I had seen these t-shirts all over social media in the past and I actually quite liked it but didn't want to pay full price for it. In the end I paid £3 for this and as it is a white t-shirt I don't plan on wearing it out of the house but I will definitely be wearing this for lounging around in the garden whilst the weather is nice.

I also got another black back printed t-shirt because there were plenty on offer in the store. As soon as I saw this fearless flower printed t-shirt I knew I was going to be getting it and it gives the perfect oversized fit so for £3 you really can't go wrong. I can see this getting a lot of wear in the spring and definitely the summer with some nice shorts.

As part of me pushing myself out of my comfort zone I decided to pick up this bright orange space t-shirt which is definitely going to make me stand out from the crowd. I absolutely love the print on this and I am looking forward to styling this for the summer as I think this is when I will be wearing it the most.

This Selena Gomez t-shirt was a bit of a random buy to be honest but she is one of my favourite actresses and musicians so I couldn't leave it behind for £3. I will be reserving this for lounging around the house in and it is actually really comfortable so I can see me lounging around playing games in this t-shirt quite often.

I also picked up this pink hoodie as it was only £3 and I loved the prints on it. Turns out this is actually Louis Tomlinson merchandise but for £3 that really doesn't matter to me as the print makes it worth it. Again this is a colour I wouldn't normally purchase but I am definitely going to be wearing this a fair bit throughout spring and into summer.

My big treat to myself this month was this Supreme t-shirt. I have wanted a t-shirt from Supreme for the the longest time but have put it off due to me not thinking it would fit me right due to my size. I finally bit the bullet though and I am in love with this all over the place t-shirt I purchased. The quality is great and the fit is spot on plus it didn't actually break the bank in the end as it was just £40 on the Supreme website.

So there you go that is everything I bought in March, I definitely picked up items that I am going to get my money worth from and I am really looking forward to styling the clothing I purchased as it is going to be a nice change now that I know what sort of style I want to be aiming for. Fingers crossed I can limit my spending a bit more in April as I have a few things I am now saved for.
