September 2025 Goals Wrap Up

Well somehow we are now at the end of September and heading into one of my favourite months... October. September has been a really good month with me celebrating my birthday, then I ended up catching my first flight in far too long for a nice little holiday with my mum. Overall September was a great month even if the goals didn't go as planned but here is a wrap up of how the goals I set for myself at the start of the month actually turned out...

 Fashion

Do my autumn clothing change over

Unfortunately this didn't turn into a huge priority for me with other things coming first. However, I do plan on getting this done as early in October as possible. The weather is certainly changing now and my holiday in a warmer climate has been and gone so there is no need for all the summer clothes to be taking up the wardrobe space. I can't wait to get all my autumn wardrobe pieces out as this is my favourite season for dressing in.

Put together my autumn footwear rotation

This one has been kind of complete as I know the footwear I am planning on wearing throughout the autumn months, I just need to buy a few items and get others out of the loft and the autumn footwear rotation is good to go. This year is going to be the year of an actual rotation and not just wearing the same footwear day in day out.

Buy more autumn pieces if needed

I have realised that with how my body is changing there is really no point getting loads of new items at the moment as they aren't going to fit me too long so I would just be wasting my money. I have bought a couple of pieces though just to replace a few items that were a bit too big however, I haven't gone overboard like in previous years which is a massive bonus.

Sort the clothes rail in the spare room

This rail is still to sort and it is just a job I keep on neglecting when it is actually probably the simplest job on my to do list. This is just a mix of football shirts, coats, new items and it needs making into a space for outfits for the week so I can be more organised. To be honest though this has been put off for a reason as I am not quite sure what I want to do with this room currently but that is a conversation for another day.

Start listing items on Vinted

Time got away from me with this one and to be honest I want to sort my wardrobe out before doing this properly so that I can get things done in one go rather than going back and forth spending more time than needed on this task. It is definitely something I want to get done soon though as the money will definitely be beneficial to adding to the goal shop money pot.

Fitness

Get my 1 Km time back to 10 minutes

I barely made it into the gym this month so my running hasn't been tested as much as I hoped. I think I might be back towards my starting time of 12 minutes 54 seconds lately due to how things have gone however, I have some plans for the running journey in October but you will have to check back for my October goal post for that.

Push towards that 100 Kg mark

I weighed in on the final day of September at 102.9 kg which is a new low weight for me and is actually a shock as I have been totally off pace with my journey this month. I am slowly but surely getting closer to that 100 kg mark and I feel as though it won't be too much longer until I reach this goal and let's just say I really can't wait to hit it.

Stick to my daily calories

Calorie tracking wasn't stuck to during my week away and thanks to a rough month this one really didn't happen which is why I am amazed at my weight drop. I feel like if I stuck to this that 100 kg would have been hit however, it is what it is and we go again.

Meal prep every week

Time, illness & laziness has meant this hasn't happened and choices of lunches for work really haven't been the best which is a bit annoying. I am hoping I can try get into the habit of doing this ASAP however, October is definitely not going to be the month of trying to do this for a number of reasons.

Aim to be in the gym 3 times a week

As I said earlier this really hasn't gone to plan and I am a bit annoyed at myself for not doing this but my head just wasn't in it and other things took over. We aren't making this mistake again though and we are going to get back on track at long last.

Life

Finish my book

Oh look a goal I have completed and it is the goal I really didn't expect to complete. Whilst away I finished my book in record timings as it took around two hours whilst lounging around the side of the pool. I really enjoyed just switching off and reading so maybe I need to do this a bit more often.

Use the dining room as intended

Oh look another one we didn't get done due to laziness, we had the table taken over for my birthday and we left it like that for a few days after out of laziness and then just due to being out and about we haven't got the chance to use this as much as we would like. With a delivery being due in October that is going to take over this room for a while we are hoping to use the room as intended up until the delivery happens and then once that delivery is all sorted and cleared out of the way we can get using it daily.

Make the most of a few days off work

My days off work were definitely made the most of with a week off work to enjoy the sun in Majorca, a day of shopping with my mum, a birthday celebration in Leeds and a day of just relaxing. The days were absolutely perfect and a nice change of scenery. It has made me really consider how I will be using my days off next year.

Get back on track with my websites

My head just wasn't in it for this one and I am annoyed at myself as the plans were in place I just didn't have the motivation or effort to execute them. I know there is so much potential with the sites if I just put my mind to it so it is about time I knuckled down with them.

Start putting time into social media again

Again my head just wasn't in it with this one and I am a bit annoyed at myself as again the plans were in place but my body confidence was holding me back and I was getting into my own head. I really want to change this ASAP soon so let's see what October has in store.

Home

Find a new kitchen

We found the perfect kitchen and it is on order where it should be arriving late October. This kitchen is going to be a massive change to what we currently have and is going to transform the space for the better whilst also making it a space we want to be in more often. I can't wait to get this fit.

Sort the cupboard in the hallway out

Time ran away from me with this one and we have now made it a priority to get this job done nice and early in October as the space needs sorting and changing for the seasons. This job is not going to take too long it is just a case of sorting through what doesn't fit or suit our styles anymore and finally getting rid.

Make few small changes in games room

Oh look another one that didn't get done and it is something I think I am going to get done now on a rainy evening after work. The plan is to make space for older consoles and get them out of storage and just moving a few bits around in the room to make it more relaxing and less cluttered.

So there you go it was definitely a mix of fortunes in September and it is now time to get back on track and make October a fantastic month. There is so much potential for the month ahead to be the best yet so let's go and see how we get on...

See you soon,

Lucy
