Building a collection : The watches I would love to own

I don't think it is a secret that I love a good watch, for my 30th I got my first Tag Heuer which I absolutely love but I have to say getting that has certainly created a bit of a bug and I am determined to build a brilliant watch collection to match my lifestyle that helps elevate my outfits day to day. The plan going forward is to not wear my fitness watch daily and actually make an effort to match my watch to my outfit to make it look so much nicer as the Garmin just doesn't cut it sometimes. I often find myself just looking at watches, mindless scrolling on social media or online stores and lately there are a few watches that have caught my eye all at different price points as you don't need to spend a fortune on a good quality watch. So here are watches I would love to add into the watch collection I am building...

Hugo Boss Grand Tour

This Hugo Boss watch is a stand out for me at the price it is as it looks super expensive but won't break the bank. The two tone bracelet & green face just work super well together and unlike other watches I own the face is a reasonable size so won't be too bulky on my wrist. I keep being pulled back to this watch so I honestly think this could be a treat to myself very soon.

Seiko Presage Cocktail Time Clover Club

This watch looks a lot classier than ones I currently own and to be honest if shown this a year ago I would have laughed it off and said 'nope this isn't me' but with how things have changed lately this is now up there as being one of the most perfect watches for me. The smaller face, the colours working brilliantly together it just looks super luxurious and is exactly what I am looking for in a watch lately.

Raymond Weil Toccata Two Tone

Now Raymond Weil is a name I have heard of a fair few times however, I normally just skip over it but a week or so ago I sat down and had a look through some of their pieces and immediately fell in love with the Toccata. This just looks super luxurious and the two tone works really well with the face of this. I feel like this would be great for a variety of occasions and really elevate the outfits I wear.

Longines Conquest

This is a name I have seen floating around social media a fair bit but again never really paid attention to. When scrolling a jewelers website recently though I came across this watch and immediately fell in love with it. This watch is so simple but looks absolutely fantastic thanks to the dark face against the silver bracelet. This is on the more expensive side of things but will be the perfect piece for my collection.

Tag Carrera

I have fallen in love with the Tag brand and I think there will be a few models added into my collection over the years. The next model I want to add is the Carrera which is certainly a piece that can be dressed up or down. Again I want this in a bit of a smaller face to what I am used to and I want a face colour that is going to go with the majority of my wardrobe.

Cartier Santos Small Model

Finally we have my dream watch the Cartier Santos in the small model. Now this is a dream due to the price tag that comes with this watch but I am setting myself some huge goals for the next 10 years and one of those goals is to have this watch within my collection, maybe it is a reward for hitting one of the big goals or maybe it is a goal in itself either way I would love to own this in the next 10 years. I can imagine the outfits I can create with this already.

So there you have it those are the watches I would love to add into a collection I am slowly trying to build. This is definitely going to be a long journey due to the cost involved in the purchases but I really can't wait to get into collection watches properly, something I have wanted to do for a long time now. I am no longer putting off the things I want to do and I am using my money for what I want going forward and watches are something I definitely want to put my money into going forward.

Now let's get working towards buying my first one...

See you soon,
Lucy
