The footwear I am going to be adding to my rotation

Here we go with another footwear wish list however, this one is a bit different to the one posted in February as I have actually added some different styles of footwear I would like as I really don't want to live in trainers daily like I have been doing in previous years. This wish list is all about practicality and pairs of footwear I am actually going to wear rather than pairs I buy due to hype and have sat gathering dust. When compiling this list I have considered the direction my life is going in for once so that every pair would have a purpose and a high chance of being worn far too much going forward making them worthwhile purchases. The thought process has been simple really, I want some smarter structured footwear for those days I want to dress up smarter for work or occassions and then I want something that looks good but is comfortable and easy to style for football trips as I plan to attend more games and make an impact through my football site, this will mean more of a street wear style for those but also looking put together not like I have thrown any old item on. The comfortable footwear would also need to work for more relaxed daily outfits too which is more than achievable with the pairs I have picked.

So here are the pairs of footwear that have made the cut for the wish list and that I am hopefully going to pick up through the course of the year & in the future, although no doubt more pairs could be added too over time...

P6-000

As I said before these are totally different to what I would usually wear but would be absolutely perfect for the football trips and dressing down outfits. They look super comfortable & like they would be perfect for all year round not just specific seasons. I already have outfits in mind for these so let's hope they are a purchase very soon.

Air Force 1's

I know the Air Force's aren't what they used to be however, I miss having a pair in my rotation. They are super easy to style and are really comfortable plus with the weather warming up the all white colourway would be ideal. I lived in a pair of these for so long, cargo's, jeans, jog bottoms & even shorts they go with everything and are worth every penny. The aim for these though would definitely be to keep them as clean as possible for as long as possible.

Shox TL

Again these are totally different to what I would usually opt for however, I am embracing different style and feel like these would be perfect for doing that. The plan is to get these in time for summer as paired with some shorts these would be ideal however, they could also be perfect for early autumn. These may be a little harder to style compared to other pairs I have had in the past however, I am hopefully going to get the chance to try soon.

Jordan Spizike Low

I absolutely love the silhouette of these however, what has sold me is the University Blue colour on them. These again would be ideal for the warmer weather however, could also be used all year round I would just need to make sure I was looking after them properly. I have wanted some University Blue Jordan's for the longest time and I feel this might just be the perfect pair for me.

Birkenstock Mules

These are something I have never considered before however, the more I see them the more I need them especially for as the weather starts to warm up. I am already imagining the outfits with these and linen styled trousers as they just look like they would work so well together. Granted these are on the costly side of things compared to what I am used to paying for shoes (Primark is usually the go to) however, they could be a good investment.

Aurelien Loafers

Now these are a very expensive purchase if I get them so I need to make sure I am going to get my wear out of them. I feel like these will be perfect for elevating outfits going forward though and making those summer outfits just look that little bit nicer. I do feel though like I could really take a shine to these and want to get them in different colours too. I am hoping that I can get saved up and treat myself to some of these as soon as possible.

Aurelien City Shoes

As an alternative to the loafers mentioned above I would also love to pick up a pair of the Aurelien city shoes, these are just something totally different to what I would usually wear but I think would look great with some outfits I have in mind. Again though these are pretty expensive so I would need to make sure I definitely had some outfits that these would go with and that I would be able to get my wear out of them if the purchase was made.

Dr Marten Shoes

Finally I have had my eyes on a pair of Dr Marten shoes for a long time now and I think 2026 is the year where I am going to take the jump and make the purchase. These again are not something I would typically wear however, I think they could be great for smartening up an outfit without making it too smart. I know I would definitely get my money worth out of these though as they could be for going out & work if I wanted to plus they are often on sale.

Those are the pairs of footwear I would love to pick up going forward. Each one definitely offers something a bit different and honestly I feel for once that I would definitely get my wear out of these rather than just getting them for the hype surrounding them and having them sat on a shelf somewhere. I will be picking these up over time and also clearing out the footwear I have already so it aligns with the styles I am aiming for going forward rather than having space taken up by pairs I am never going to wear again. For now though let's have a shop around and see where I can get these from at reasonable prices.

Ways I am working towards my 10 year goals

I have mentioned previously the 10 year goals I have set myself (if you have missed this you can read about them here) and I have finally started to make some progress to those goals and have a plan of action in place to help me achieve what used to feel unachievable.  For so long I have just dreamt of that life but I have decided that there is no point just dreaming, if I stop the procrastination and actually got my act together there is no reason I shouldn't be able to achieve what was once just a dream.

As I say I have taken some steps already to help me towards the big goals over the next 10 years however, I have also sat and worked out just how to go about achieving the goals and steps I need to take to make them possible going forward. So here are the things I have started doing and plan on doing going forward...

Working out more

If I want to be in the best shape ever I need to get moving my body so much more than I previously have been so I have started that already but I am also planning on increasing my workouts even more going forward. Working out will help me build that much needed discipline alongside helping me getting in better shape so it is super beneficial to start on this right away.

Eating better

There is no point doing all the working out if I am just going to be eating junk food and super processed foods alongside this as I am never going to see any progress. We are currently working through our freezer stock and then we are cutting out ultra processed foods, I am reducing my sugar intake and the plan over all is just to eat much cleaner so I can make as much progress as possible on my fitness journey.

Locking in on content creation

On this site and my gaming site I am already posting a whole lot more than I have done in the past year or so. I have finally stopped pushing things back and I have sat and created what I like for a change and I am feeling so good about it. I am hoping that this is just the start of things and I can see the growth take place ready to build things even more in the future to hit those 10 year goals. Recently I have shifted the type of content for my Instagram for here too and I am hoping it helps me get more invested in Instagram once more too.

Planning ahead

I am no longer winging it when it comes to content for this website & my gaming one, I am actually planning ahead and let's just say I feel great for it. There is no more guess work, I can stay much more consistent and I actually have a sense of direction which has been much needed. By planning ahead I know exactly what needs doing and when so I don't have to think of ideas on the spot or just skip a day which leads to skipping a week and ultimately can lead to me not posting for month.

Looking into rebuilding my football website

I want to maximize my potential with my football site. I haven't posted much this year and with the season in the closing stages most of my commitment towards this site over the next few months is going to be getting it ready to comeback better than ever for the 2026/27 season. Don't get me wrong I will be posting on here however, I am also looking at better pages so it is easier to navigate and maybe even moving platforms to help the growth. The football site is definitely lagging behind at the moment but a rebuild and fresh start could be great for it.

Planning next seasons content

I have already at and worked out the sort of content I want to be creating for the football site next season and let's just say it going to be keeping me busy if all goes to plan & will hopefully help me get the ball rolling to achieve those 10 year goals I have set myself for with this site. There is so much potential here so I just really need to get the ball rolling for it.

Saving money where I can

I now have a budget I can stick to going forward, I have started taking my lunches to work and in general I have managed to reduce my spending already. This has all been done to help me save money towards my 10 year savings goals however, it is also helping me save for the watch & fragrance collections I want whilst also allowing me to save for the cameras etc I want to help me level up my content. This area really is a work in progress but I am hopeful it is something I can keep improving to help me hit those goals.

Finding ways to improve my confidence

To achieve a lot of the goals I have set myself I really need to be more confident and I am looking at ways to improve my confidence over time. First off I know that working on my fitness will help my confidence massively but I also need to do other things like do solo trips as sometimes I am going to have to go to the football alone which freaks me out a little but if I can be more confident I know this is something I can definitely do going forward.

Carrying out a wardrobe edit

To find my style I am doing regular wardrobe edits going forward and I am planning on doing these every few months to make sure items are fitting me and are suitable for the style I am aiming for. By doing these edits already I have realised I have two styles really which I am going to be leaning into going forward so I really need to make sure what I have matches these and I am only buying items that go along with this too.

So there you have it those are a few ways I am working towards those 10 year goals currently I have plenty of time to work towards these but I am already making some progress which I guess has shown me just how much I really want to make these dreams a reality.

Let's push on and make a difference in my life.

The reasoning behind a low buy year

The time has come to lock in and save my money rather than wasting it.

Currently I am living pay day to pay day and I am sick of it I know that I could stop spending for the sake of it and actually get money moved into savings for the items I really want or for things to do in the future. Right now I go shopping and have to bring something home just to make sure it doesn't feel like a wasted trip, which then slowly drains my bank account as I am going shopping far more times than I actually need to just so that I am not sat around the house. When in fact sitting around the house could be more beneficial as I could work on levelling up my content and decluttering, both things that I have neglected massively lately and want to take control of once more.

There is so much I want to do and achieve going forward as I work towards elevating my life however, for those I need to have plenty of money for those things so I need to get saving my money rather than wasting it. The past few years I have realised items have been purchased without any thought and they just sit unused & looking around it has really opened my eyes. All that money could have gone on experiences or towards items I have really wanted for many years.

With the eye opening lately I have decided that going forward I am going to do a low buy year in the hopes of building a better relationship with money & spending and also shopping going forward. The low buy year should hopefully teach me what to cut out and where my money actually goes rather than me scratching my head each month wondering why my bank account is empty. So here is exactly why I am doing the low buy year...

To save for jobs around the house

We still need to start work on our all new living room which isn't going to be cheap, we have big works to do in the garden & on the driveway which will certainly cost a few thousand pounds so every penny saved will be a massive help for getting these done going forward. There are also other rooms we want to do smaller work to once the bigger jobs are done so I really need to get adding to a home savings account to get started on these jobs at long last.

Sick of having an overflowing wardrobe & nothing to wear

My wardrobe is well and truly overwhelming. I look at it and struggle to put outfits together and often wonder why I even purchased specific items as they are definitely items that aren't going to suit the style I am opting for and my current body shape. The amount of items I have with tags still on them is ridiculous now and I have spent a fortune on clothing just so I haven't come home empty handed. I am sick of feeling overwhelmed and confused every morning and hopefully a low buy year will help me reduce the wasted money and help me start curating my perfect wardrobe.

I need to start saving for when I hit my goal weight

With the amount of weight I am actually aiming to lose let's just say none of my current clothing items are going to fit by the time I hit it so a whole new wardrobe rotation is going to be needed. Rather than spending on items that might fit for a few months I need to start looking at the long term. Instead of the t-shirts and jeans for the sake of it I can put the same amount of money into a savings pot so when I hit that end goal I can go out and buy a more elevated outfit which will suit my style going forward. the rebuild isn't going to be cheap at all so every penny really will help.

I am working towards the dream life

Recently I mapped out what my dream life looked like and to be honest I soon realised that if I carried on the way I was already there was no way I was going to get to it. By implementing the low buy I can save more for those items I want to help me elevate my life and build that dream rather than draining my accounts for something that is going to hold me back. By doing a low buy year and implementing other changes I should be able to start working towards that dream life at long last.

By doing the low buy year all the above should be more than achievable but to make sure I am sticking to it I need to set myself some rules for what I can't be buying. So after looking at where all my money goes I have decided that whilst I am doing this low buy challenge (still no end date) these are the things I won't be allowing myself to buy...

Books

I have enough books in the house to last me a life time and honestly I couldn't tell you when the last time I read was. I don't need to buy any due to hype as they are just going to be sat on shelves gathering dust for far too long. Before buying any new books I need to read the ones I already own and declutter those.

Face Masks

Our bathroom shelf is overflowing with face masks and honestly I couldn't tell you the last time I used one. My family tend to buy me these for birthdays and Christmas and then I get it into my head I am going to have pamper nights and buy even more which then don't get used due to me being lazy. I dread to think how much I have wasted on these over the years so going forward I am not buying anymore.

Skincare

I spend a ridiculous amount of money on different skincare and then forget to use it so it ultimately expires and gets thrown away. As part of my low buy year I am planning on not buying any skincare until what I have has been used up. Once I have emptied a product I can then replace it but I am no longer having half used products being replaced by new items. I will be making sure I get some sun cream & after sun before locking in on this though as these are two necessary items.

Lego

The amount of Lego I have still in boxes is absolutely ridiculous. I see a new set and say I need it and will definitely build it but then the moment passes and I forget all about them. Looking at all the boxes on our Lego display shelf just shows us how much money I have wasted so no more Lego until all my current ones are built and going forward Lego might be gifted by family rather than me spending in store so it is a treat.

Football Shirts

My wardrobe is full of football shirts from teams all over the world as I used to collect them & wear them almost daily however, life has certainly changed since those days and I very rarely go out in shirts these days and if I do it is only specific ones for game days. The amount spent on shirts over the years is ridiculous and with the price going up I have come to the realization I don't need every shirt out there. I will obviously be buying the shirts for my teams in the men's and women's game for the new season however, I am going to try limit myself to these shirts only.

Clothing

As I have said before my wardrobe is absolutely full of clothing I don't wear and probably never will wear. Going forward I am going to be putting a ban on buying clothing as I really don't need to add to the overwhelm that is my wardrobe. As I am on my fitness journey there is no need to be adding to the wardrobe as hopefully items aren't going to be fitting me a few months down the line so the purchases would be wasted money. I need to take stock of what I have already especially for the warmer weather as I should definitely have everything I need.

Home Accessories

The house really is cluttered with items that really aren't needed so I don't need to be spending any more money on accessories for around the house. This is specifically aimed candles too as they are slowly taking over every room and to be honest I don't even use them, it is rare I light a candle so why do I have so many? I am hoping by not buying these sort of items my bank account will thank me.

So those are the things I am not going to be buying in the hopes of saving a lot more than I previously have done however, as always I am going to be making a few exceptions to this for when I do really need something or if an items is going to help me grow in one way or another and those exceptions are...

Clothing

I know I have literally just said I won't be buying clothing whilst doing the low buy however, with my fitness journey I may need to buy some new items to replace bits that no longer fit me correctly. I want to make sure that my clothing always looks great and not like it has been thrown on with no thought so if a pair of trousers or a t-shirt gets to the point of looking ridiculous it is time to get rid and get new.

Weight Loss Rewards

I am working on creating a new set of weight loss rewards to match with how my life is changing direction, I am trying not to make it all clothing focused however, one or two rewards may all fall into an above category. These will be a one off reward for achieving a goal though and not an every few days purchase like they previously have been.

Items that help me towards my big goals

I am hoping that by doing a low buy year I have more money saved and some more money available for those items that are going to be for my goals. Granted these items aren't going to be in my budget however, if I do manage to have income left over for the likes of website branded wear for football matches and camera equipment I will be allowing myself to break the budget and low buy to purchase these as they are definitely worth while additions as they will help me towards my end goals.

Whilst doing this low buy I am hoping to build a much better relationship with money and spending in generally as my habits in these areas are super unhealthy and are costing me a lot currently so here are the some of the things I am planning to do to help me cut back on the spending when I get the urge to head out...

Less Shopping Trips

I currently say yes to every trip out just to get me out of the house and I am now realising I don't need to do this as there are plenty of things I could do at home which won't actually cost me money. I can catch up on jobs I have been neglecting and watch tv shows I love without getting fed up as I could have been out. Less shopping trips will certainly help my bank account.

Drawing

Whilst I am sat at home I am going to lean into drawing once more. This is something I loved doing back in the day and found really relaxing so I am going to aim to spend some time working on different images which I think could capture my other love of gaming & gaming landscapes too making sitting and drawing even more fun.

Gaming

The games room is overflowing with unplayed games and to be honest it is ridiculous how many I have bought in the past that have just sat gathering dust on the shelf. Rather than going shopping I am planning to incorporate gaming nights and weekends into my routine so that I am actually playing those games which in turn will help me be able to create more for my gaming site which is a win, win situation.

Lego

As I said earlier in the post I have so much Lego to build and with how long each set takes me I could very easily spend a good few months building these instead of going out spending more money. Sitting and building this will get me away from the screen for a while too which is certainly an added bonus going forward and will give me that much needed switch off from tech.

Creating

Instead of shopping I can do one huge thing that is going to help me reach my goals going forward... I can stay home and create content for my websites and social media accounts. I really want to grow all these so it is about time I put my everything into growing these to reach my full potential. I have so much I want to do for this so I am locking in and creating rather than shopping, I can't wait to see just what I can do by spending time behind the camera and on the PC rather than throwing money away.

I am really hoping that doing a low buy year is going to provide a massive, much needed shift in life going forward and helps me see my potential. I guess only time will tell if it will though. Fingers crossed that we are going to see a lot more content going forward too rather than disappearing for months as no shopping might as well lead to more productivity.

My March 2026 Pay Day Wish List

At long last pay day is here, it couldn't have come at a better time as my bank account has been screaming for it. Things are changing this month as it marks the start of my low buy year. I need to get better with money so the idea going forward is to cut out any unnecessary spending and only buy what I really need. These pay day wish list posts are certainly going to get smaller but going forward they are going to be filled with items that I really want, have saved towards or that are going to help me achieve my goals going forward. So here is what has made it onto this months pay day wish list...

Chinos

None of my current chinos fit me properly and with how I am planning on changing my style these are going to be a crucial piece of my wardrobe for spring. I am hoping that I can find some nice fitting pairs at a reasonable price or that the ones I love in Marks & Spencer go on offer so I can add these into my spring wardrobe.

Linen Trousers

I really want to add one more pair of linen trousers into my wardrobe for the upcoming warmer weather just so I have enough pairs to rotate through. At the moment my wardrobe is full of heavy jeans and just the one pair of linen trousers that fits so one more would help me be able to dress more like I want to.

Jacket

All my current jackets are too sporty for my new style so I am going to be on the hunt for a nice lightweight jacket for spring and summer which works better with the style I am going for. So far I have my eye on some short trench coats or a nice bomber jacket. I definitely need to shop around for the perfect option for me so this might even be an April pay day purchase but we shall see.

Katie Loxton Bag

Now this is only if I manage to do well with the rest of my spending as it is going to be a big chunk of money however, I have wanted one of these bags for the longest time and I have now got out of using my backpack for work daily so this would actually be a very worthwhile purchase. I am really hoping I can reign in my spending so that I can finally get one of these bags as I have wanted one for so long now.

Meal Prep Tubs

We are no longer relying on meal deals and we are actually going to start making food to take to work with us which should save us so much money in the long run. I am hoping to pick up some meal prep tubs for us to make more than sandwiches as we threw our old ones away when doing the kitchen work. I know that I can pick these up at a reasonable price so I just need to make sure these are all I pick up when I go to get them.

Speaker for the Home Gym

My gym membership is no more and I am glad as it is going to save me so much money. Going forward I am going to be using my home gym a whole lot more so I need to start investing in what I have in there. The first upgrade I want to make is a speaker so that I don't have to rely on my phone speaker or earphones for every session. I know that I can get one of these for under £50 so it is time to go make that purchase.

Card Reader

Finally we have an item that is massively going to help with the projects I am working on. As I am using my camera more and plan to increase the usage in the future I need to invest in this as my previous one is no longer compatible with my phone. By purchasing this I can get images off my camera and onto my phone a lot easier speeding up the process. To be honest this is a long overdue purchase.

I am really hoping I can have a good month money wise, not spend for the sake of it and actually stick to my budget so my savings stay as savings and I can hopefully put extra in at the end of the month. Fingers crossed that going forward this month is just the beginning of healthier money habits and there is no more living pay day to pay day.

See you soon

How I plan on elevating my style

As part of upgrading my life I am planning on finally locking in and working on my style. My current idea around clothing has just been to throw on any old items due to a lack of confidence however, I need to stop waiting for that confidence to arrive and just start dressing how I want which in turn will probably help that confidence grow too. Going forward I want to go for a more elevated put together look which means gone are the days of jeans, graphic t-shirts and trainers every day and in are days of planning outfits and dressing for the life I want. As I say going forward I want my outfits to looking more luxurious and elevated, colours that match & shapes that actually work together. I also don't want to be buying the same types of items over and over due to them being poor quality, I want to buy better and have those pieces last much longer, I am so over buying cheap and buying twice. I might need to spend more initially for pieces but it should help me on my saving journey in the long run too as I wont be constantly needing to replace items.

In terms of clothing I am going to be looking at doing a full U-turn on what I currently wear. For so long now it has been a t-shirt or football shirt with jeans or cargo's and a pair of beat up trainers. Going forward I want to bring CEO energy to life and dress like I mean business. That is why I am looking at adding to following items into my wardrobe going forward...

Tapered Trousers

I am not one for anything to wide or baggy, it just doesn't suit my body so to replace the daily jeans I would love a wardrobe filled with some quality tapered trousers. These would be absolutely perfect for dressing up or down and can easily be found in a variety of colours and even with a bit of a pattern to them. These would be a pretty big change daily to my jeans but would work so well going forward plus with material choices I can be elevated but comfortable.

Chinos

I absolutely love a good pair of chinos and have done for years now so I want to make sure I have plenty of these in my wardrobe going forward. These are a lot more casual but can also look good dressed up. These would definitely serve me well on days out though and I can already picture the sort of outfits I can build with them.

Linen Trousers

I can't stop looking at linen trousers whilst I am out and about, they are well and truly drawing me in for the warmer weather. I would love to add a few different colours into my wardrobe to cover all types of outfits I have in mind. Going forward I am hoping to be able to travel a lot more so these would be a great addition for a holiday wardrobe too.

Wide Leg Trousers

I know I said earlier I don't tend to go for anything wide leg however, there have been some trousers in the past which have been wide leg and actually suited me. The plan is to add a couple of wide leg pairs into my rotation just to mix things up a bit and help me with some more casual looks I have in mind. The type of trousers I have in mind for this are striped or printed ones.

Shorts

Gone are the days of living in sports shorts & jersey shorts and in comes the smarter shorts. The sort of shorts I am looking at going forward are chino & linen type as these just look so much smarter and again can be dressed up or down depending on the occassion. Granted some denim shorts will be staying to help me on those more casual days but I won't be wearing them daily like I have done previously.

Basic T-shirts

The graphic t-shirts are going at long last and I am opting for the basics going forward, no logo or minimal logos in a variety of colours to go with everything. Some might be a standard t-shirt where as others may be knitted just to offer a bit of a different option. There is no need for me to have absolutely loads of t-shirts like I currently do however, I want to make sure I am well covered for all occassions.

Polo Shirts

I have always loved a good polo shirt however, I haven't always known how to style them. Going forward though I want to get some smarter more feminine looking ones that I can dress up and wear for work. These would be perfect for a smart casual office look with those tapered trousers I am wanting to pick up.

Shirts

I absolutely love a good shirt and I am planning on investing in even more going forward to make them a bit of a work uniform. I want a wardrobe full of shirts to dress up and down, linen, patterned, plain you name it I want them all to make sure I have a shirt for every occassion. I don't just want long sleeved shirts though like I currently have, I want to add some short sleeved ones too.

1/4 Zip's

A nice pair of trousers, a plain t-shirt with a good quality 1/4 zip over the top sounds like a great idea in terms of work outfits. The plan is to save these 1/4 zip purchases until I have hit my goal weight as I would love to purchase the Ralph Lauren 1/4 zips so I need to make sure they will last to be able to justify spending the money on them. I want to keep these in simple colours to go with a whole host of items in my wardrobe & so that I can dress them up and down.

Blazers

To go with the smarter looks I have in mind I need something to throw on if the weather is not the best, especially as I work in a pretty cold office. I used to love dressing up simple outfits with a nice blazer and that is something I plan on doing once more. The aim is to pick up different colours and styles of blazers going forward including some linen ones as the weather starts to get better.

Short Trench Coat

All the jackets I own are sports style which aren't going to work for the style I am aiming for going forward so I think it is finally time to get the short trench coat I have had my eyes on for a while. For so long I have wanted one of these jackets however, I have always thought that it wouldn't suit me. Now is the time to cast the doubt and just give things a try.

Car Coat

Just like with the trench coat I have always wanted a car coat but have never been brave enough to give one a try. Again this changes now and I am going to finally buy those items and get out of the scruffy old clothing. This is really going to help elevate my outfits whilst also helping keep me warm I just need to find the perfect one for me.

Accessories to suit the outfits

Gone are the days of now adding accessories to my outfits or just throwing on a pair of glasses and thinking it is enough. Going forward my plan is to invest in some jewellery, hats, sunglasses and other bits so that I can add the relevant bits to my outfits and make them look so much more put together. I can't wait to grow the accessories and start adding them to my outfits.

Proper Socks

Now this is a bit of a unique one as people probably think socks are socks. Well I get lazy and tend to stick to the sports socks and tend to only buy sports socks. Going forward I need to change these ways and make sure I am wearing crew socks made out of good materials to go with the smarter trousers I am wearing. I also need to get some quality no show socks that will go well with my loafers and are actually no show.

Alongside clothing I need to make sure my footwear is going to help elevate my style, no beat up trainers every day going forward, instead I will be making sure the shoes go with the outfits and are kept clean & in good condition. So here is the footwear I am looking at adding into my rotation going forward...

Loafers

I am wanting to have plenty of loafers in my rotation going forward in different styles so that I have a pair to go with every outfit. A good mix of leather & suede alongside different silhouettes will tick all boxes for me and I can't wait to see what pairs I find that are actually comfortable too.

Boat Shoes

Boat shoes are a type of shoes I have always loved however, they have never really gone with any of the outfits I have previously worn. Going forward I want to get a pair of boat shoes that suit me and the outfits I am putting together but are also comfortable. I can't wait to hunt down the perfect pair of these.

Smart Trainers

I think I am growing up and heading away from the 'hype' trainers now and opting for smarter ones. I don't need all the logos any more something smarter and more elevated is going to go so much better with the outfits I have in mind. My plan is to start off with some Vichy trainers and then maybe shop around for other pairs just to dress up or down an outfit.

City Shoes

I never really thought I would like City shoes however, I have absolutely fallen in love with the ones that Auerlain do. Granted these are expensive so I want to really consider the purchase before I make it and pick the right colourway. I think these could be much easier to style than I initially thought too so I wonder just how much wear I could get out of them.

Driving Shoes

These were a last minute addition to this list but I think these could be great to wear in the summer with some shorts and a nice top. They are just something very different to what I am used to but will help outfits look great. They would be so much better than the Nike's I usually live in over summer.

Sandals

Don't ask me why but for as long as I can remember I have always wore trainers all year round but I know that I want to change things up and a nice pair of sandals would be ideal for the warm weather. The dream would be the chunky Hermes ones however, I need to be a bit more realistic so maybe a nice pair in a similar style will be being purchased in the future.

Which ever shoes I pick up I need to ensure I am looking after them going forward to make them last and get the most out of them. That is why I am looking at purchasing material protectors & shoe trees to help them last longer.

It isn't just going to be fashion that helps me elevate my style going forward, beauty wise things are going to help too and those are simple things like...

A Signature Hair Style

This doesn't have to be anything drastic just something that is neat and tidy. In the past I have run a brush through my hair and called that it but now I am taking time to make it look a lot nicer. Whether is is using the straighteners or styling products, I have a hair style I can manage at long last.

Good hygiene

This is an obvious one but something often overlooked. I have done the bare minimum and my body is paying for it so going forward it is body scrubs, the correct products and even tongue scrapers to help me achieve the hygiene standards I deserve. Even something as simple as rotating towels more often will massively help.

Skincare

My skin has been massively neglected but good clear skin will help elevate any look and I need to keep reminding myself of that. I won't be going overboard with products but a skincare routine on a morning & evening will help get the condition back on track and get me more confident in my skin.

Signature Fragrance

I am going to be finding my signature fragrance which should help tie all the above together and make me stand out from the crowd for all the right reasons. Smelling good and looking good just goes hand in hand and I can't wait for all this to fall into place.

By purchasing the above items & putting in place routines I really should see a massive elevation in my style going forward and the CEO energy should really be brought to life through my choices. I am really hoping that by elevating my style going forward I gain a lot more confidence and feel much happier in my own body going forward. By dressing the part and with intention I should definitely feel elevated and like I am capable of levelling up my life.

It is time to get cracking on with this wardrobe rebuild and see just how much I can elevate my style going forward.

See you soon,

Lucy

The items I am currently trying to save for

2026 is all about levelling up and investing in myself and projects I have going on which means a fair few purchases are being planned and let me just say those purchases aren't going to be cheap as I am looking at things in the long run, I am no longer buying cheap and buying twice, I am going for quality straight away which may cost a lot initially but should save me in the long run if all goes to plan. I sat down recently made a list of those items I am going to save for so that I can get an idea of the costs I would be looking at (which is quite scary to look at) and I thought I would share those items on here today and we can hopefully slowly make our way through the list over time. Realistically we aren't going to be getting these in the near future as the cost means I will be saving for a while to get a lot of what is on this list and I want to make sure that I am making the right choices with these items before I spend the amount on the items. So here is what I am currently saving up for...

Camera

I really want to pick up a camera which will help me create better quality images for on here and social media but also so that I can film reels on it and not have to compromise on quality. I have seen one of these for around the £500 mark currently but I really want to make sure I am getting a camera that is going to last me if I am spending plenty of money on it. I want to make sure I make the right choice with this item as it could really help me improve my content going forward.

Sports Camera & Lens

Yes I have just said I am looking at getting a camera however, this one is different as it would be specifically for my football content which is something that I am going to be locking in on going forward to improve my football site and maybe work with some clubs but more on that another day as it is going to be a part of my big life change. This is going to cost a small fortune but it could be a big piece of equipment to help me grow so it is certainly going to be worth the investment if all goes to plan.

DJI Osmo Pocket 3

The final piece of camera equipment on this list is the DJI Osmo Pocket 3. This little gadget would be great for the fitness, lifestyle and football content I have in mind so the cost would definitely be worth it in the long run. I have heard so many good things about this item so I can't wait to pick it up for myself to see if it lives up to expectations.

iPad

The plan going forward is to get an iPad so that I don't have to take my Macbook everywhere I go. This iPad would need to be able to handle editing, writing and potentially drawing however, it would be good to use as a second screen and a way to consume content too. I am leaning towards the Pro at the moment but I don't want to spend too much so I might have a rethink and look into all my options properly.

Home Gym Equipment

I am really locking in on my weight loss journey however, I don't always want to be driving to the gym which is why I have a little bit of a home gym. This area is very basic currently and to really benefit from sessions in there I could do with really upgrading some of the current equipment and adding some new bits in all together. This is going to be a lot of trial and error I believe however, it could end up creating us the perfect workout area for both me & Liam to use.

Tag Watch

My plan is to really grow my watch collection and the goal is to add another Tag to this. I love my Formula 1 that I got for my 30th and I would love a Carrera to sit alongside this. There are so many different versions of this and I think I have decided which face I want however, with how much I need to save for this my mind could have changed over and over by the time I come to make the purchase.

Coach Backpack

My sights are set on a Coach backpack for work I just haven't settled on which one yet. This will be a nice luxury upgrade to my 6 year old River Island backpack I am using and as silly as it sounds I think it will just help elevate my day to day outfits that little bit more. These are on the expensive side of things so I definitely need to decide on which one I really want who knows I might find the perfect one at an outlet store when I pop into one.

Prada Sunglasses

I currently wear my Ray Bans all year round but I am starting to fancy picking up a pair a bit different to them. For a year or so now I have had my eyes on these Prada sunglasses however, I haven't been able to justify the price. The time has finally come though for me to put some money to one side and finally purchase these as I can't stop thinking about them.

Veja Trainers

I really do think my days of sport brand shoes are behind me now as I seem to like a pair for a few days and then change my mind. I keep gravitating towards the Veja trainers as they look a bit smarter than my usual choices however, they are a bit expensive for if I don't know how they will feel on feet. I am putting some money to one side to finally get a pair of these if they feel alright when I try a pair on.

Aurelien Shoes

Recently I got some loafers that are a bit like the ones this company do however, I am determined to save for a pair of Aurelien loafers and the City version that they do. This is going to be very expensive for what they are however, they should be worth the investment in the long run. The cheaper pairs I have got are acting life place holders until I can get the real thing and I am looking forward to being able to make those purchases.

Ralph Lauren 1/4 Zip

My wardrobe is going to be undergoing a huge transformation however, the big designer items are going to be a bit further down the line when I have hit my weight loss goal. The big item I am currently saving for is a Ralph Lauren 1/4 zip something I have had my eyes on for a very long time and will be the perfect treat for all the hard work of the weight loss journey has paid off and I have hit my final goal. The purchase of this is really going to feel like a massive reward as the weight loss journey currently feels never ending.

There you have it those are the items I am currently saving for, each one will be sure to help me in a different way whilst the 1/4 zip will signify the end of a hue journey. For now though it is time to keep on putting money to one side ready to make these purchases.

See you soon

It is time to look at upgrading my accessories

I am trying to improve all aspects of my life and that even includes the accessories I own as I now know accessories are what can make or break an outfit whilst some will also help clothing and footwear last longer than it currently does. I am all for looking better and items lasting longer now as I learn the direction I want to take my style in at long last. I want to look smart, luxurious and put together, not like I have just rolled out of bed and thrown on the first thing I have come across that day. This is why I have done and audit of things I have and things that I could do with potentially adding to the wardrobe to help me achieve the looks I have in mind and here is what I would love to add...

Shoe Trees

The shoes I am buying are a lot different to pairs I already own and I want to make sure they hold their shape as much as possible instead of them getting ruined far too quickly. For my loafers and smarter trainers I plan on buying I would love to pick up some wooden shoe trees to add to the care of them and hopefully expand their life.

Shoe Horn

I am terrible at treading down the backs of shoes I own trying to put them on and I want to change this so that I can hold onto shoes for longer and keep the backs in much better condition. I can't decide if I want a wooden or metal one of these although wood seems to be standing out to me that little bit more. I just want to have backs of the shoes that last more than a few months.

Debobbler

If I am going to take care of my clothing I want to take care of it at all levels so a debobbler would be the perfect addition to my wardrobe. Some of the nicer pieces of clothing I own have started to bobble a bit over time so I know that one of these devices would help keep my clothing looking fresh for longer and they are pretty reasonably priced too which is always a bonus. If this adds even a few month extra to my clothing's life span then it is well worth the purchase.

Valet Rod

Now this is a little bit of a niche one however, I don't have the space for a valet stand so a valet rod is a compromise. This would be great to have on the wall so I can pop the next day's outfit on before I go to bed that day. This would just make getting ready so much easier and gives me the chance to really plan my outfits and put some effort into them. Again I don't need to spend a fortune on one of these but it will make life that little bit easier.

Jewellery Box

I really want to invest in my jewellery going forward and if I am going to be doing that I need somewhere to store it so it is well protected when I am not wearing it. Right now the pieces are just in my drawer in my wardrobe but that needs to change so I am looking at hopefully picking up a Stacker's jewellery box that I have built to make sure everything has the correct storage. I just can't settle on what I would like from there.

Watch Box

One of my 10 year goals is to have a dream watch collection and again if I am spending on nice watches I want somewhere to store them where they won't get damaged so the plan is to get a watch box that my collection can grow into as there is no point in getting one that holds two watches if I plan to own more in the near future. Again I have seen some of these boxes on Stackers that stand out to me but I guess time will tell which I end up going for.

Abbott Lyon Watches

As I build that dream watch collection I would love to add in some reasonably priced more feminine watches into my collection and Abbott Lyon have some absolutely fantastic watches available and I am spoilt for choice when it comes to which one is going to be my first purchase. Each watch looks like it would add a different layer to my outfit when wearing it so it is time to sit and plan that first purchase.

Abbott Lyon Jewellery

Whilst looking at watches I have realised just how many nice pieces of jewellery Abbott Lyon have and again I need to sit and work out which bits I want to purchase first. My goal is to have the perfect rotation of gold and silver pieces for all occasions. This should be easy to achieve with Abbott Lyon as they have the perfect everyday pieces and the perfect elevated pieces and they usually have offers on too which should help me build the perfect collection without breaking the bank.

Holland Cooper Cap

I am on the hunt for the perfect caps to add into my rotation this year so that I am not wearing my Ralph Lauren one all summer like I did last year. I seem to be getting drawn into the Holland Cooper collection at the moment and I would honestly love to add a few different ones into my wardrobe going forward. From simple ones to ones with bigger prints there is something to go with all outfits I have in mind for the warmer weather. Again though I need to decide which to get first, I am thinking maybe the most versatile one.

Coach Card Holder

Slowly but surely I am getting used to using purses however, I don't always want to be taking a big purse and bag out, quite often I would only need to take a few cards and a few notes out with me which is where a card holder would come in handy. I have seen a few different ones available on the Coach website which I like so I am hoping I can get to a store to pick the one I like the best. The criteria for this is stylish but won't break the bank.

Ralph Lauren Belt

I am needing to wear belts a lot more often and I am now seeing them as something that can elevate an outfit so it is time to upgrade from the £4 Primark men's belts to something with smarter looking hardware. I absolutely love the buckle of the Ralph Lauren belt plus the one I like is reversible making it more versatile. This is a purchase that will possibly be better suited for when I lose my weight and hit my goal size so I have time to think about this one.

Prada Sunglasses

I have got a bit of a sunglasses addiction and have found more than 10 pairs within my wardrobe lately however, I think it is about time I finally caved in and treated myself to the Prada pair I have had my eye on for a while. Granted they are going to be an expensive purchase but should be worth it as sunglasses are something I wear loads all through the year.

I am determined to upgrade my accessories over the next year and further into the future so I can use simple items to elevate my outfits and add that finishing touch. Granted this might take a while due to the costs involved but I am looking forward to being able to go out and find those perfect pieces. Maybe I will start off small and work my way up with the expense of purchases.

See you soon
