Building the dream the series...

 

I am working towards something pretty big right now so to hold myself accountable and so that I might actually see some progress I am going to be doing a new series on here every Monday for the foreseeable future. I am going to be documenting the sort of things I am doing on my journey and hopefully by actually documenting things I am going to lock in even more as I want to be able to report back each week with progress rather than having an empty post every week. Lately I am really striving to be better & improve on things going forward to help me achieve what I put off as it seemed impossible. The thing I am working on is making my Women's football website succeed... I used to put so much time and energy into this but things changed over time and I dropped off... now though I am back and I am striving to make it bigger and better than ever. I would love to build this into something huge and make it a place fans head to for great content & who knows if any other opportunities come from it then that is even better. I know that to do this though I am going to have to really knuckle down and put a lot more time into the content I produce not just on the site but on social media too. This weekly series is going to be a way of me documenting the  journey to not only hold myself accountable but also so I can look back on the journey I have been on one day and who knows it may also show other people that you can achieve what you set out to do. I know this journey is going to be hard work and is going to be highs and lows so this series is going to document it all.

One thing that is going to be documented is going to be the stats. I think looking at these weekly will really help me see what is working and what needs changing. So each week for 2 Instagram accounts (personal & football), my football Facebook & my personal TikTok I will be looking at the views, interactions and followers for the week. I will also be looking at the views etc on both websites to see how that compares week to week. I am really looking forward to seeing how this differs week to week and just how long the growth takes.

The series will also include my goals for the week ahead so that I can put my intentions down and look towards a hopefully very productive week rather than just coasting along without any intent which often happens. I am hoping that by having some goals my focus will remain on those which are going to be set to maximize the progress I make. Along side the goals for the week ahead I will be wrapping up each of the goals I had set the previous week so I can look at if I hit them or if I was way off pace. This is just going to be a good chance to see if the goals are achievable or not and if I need to tone them down a bit.

I will also be taking a look at how I thought the previous week had gone, did things work out, did I set out to do much or do things need changing? This will also be where I reflect on how I am feeling as the last thing I want to do is burnout especially as the football season hasn't started yet. I will also be adding in my plans for the upcoming week just so I can see if I am overdoing it or not, this will be any events or match days I am attending alongside anything else that may crop up and potentially take me away from working towards the dream. It is going to be all about finding a nice balance with this so lets see how it goes.

I am really excited to see how things go within this little series so I can see just what is going to plan and what isn't. The first installment will be up on Monday with what I have done this week and plans for the week ahead. For now it is time to lock in and make a change. Let's do this...
