December 2025 Pay Day Wish List

Here we go the last pay day wish list of 2025, how quick has this year gone! The items I purchase within this pay period are going to reflect how I want 2026 to go, items bought will be upgrades to help me achieve those goals I am setting for myself in 2026. I am also bringing in the new rule of limiting what I spend to increase the amount I am saving going forward so I am putting that into practice now rather than waiting until the first pay day of 2026 to get that going. There are a fair few items on this list so whether I get them all remains to be seen but we shall see how things go, here is what I am hoping to pick up with my final pay of 2025...

Boxing mitts

I am heading back to boxing in 2026 and I really can't wait. I have really missed the sessions so I am looking forward to getting into a routine with them and seeing how it helps shape my fitness journey in the new year. I want to pick up a decent set of mitts to go with my gloves for my return as it is just more comfortable in your own equipment. I have set a budget for these so let's see if I can stick to it.

Bag for my boxing items

With me going back boxing I could really use a bag that I am going to be able to fit everything in for a change. I need to find something big enough for my gloves, mitts and a drink at least as my old bag struggles to fit just my gloves in. Again I am hoping I can find something big enough at a reasonable price.

Nike Metcon's

I am upping my workouts in 2026 and the plan is to make sure I am also wearing the correct footwear whilst doing the workouts to ensure I am less likely to get injured due to wearing the incorrect footwear. I have had my eyes on the Metcon's for a while now so I am hoping that I can get some at a good price in the boxing day sales or from a local outlet.

Garmin Watch

My Apple watch is on its way out, it is not tracking properly and keeps crashing so after far too many years it is time for an upgrade. The plan is to use some money this month to purchase a Garmin watch to help me keep a close eye on what I am doing and how I am recovering in 2026. I am unsure which model I want to purchase yet so it is time to do some research and see which model is best suited for me.

Chelsea Boots

I have mentioned a few times now about how 2026 is going to be finding myself and upgrading my life and this is going to mean a few upgrades are being made. I really want to pick up a nice pair of Chelsea boots with this months pay which are going to last me a while as my previous ones are starting to look worn and scuffed beyond repair. The hunt is on to find myself that perfect pair.

Katie Loxton Bag

I keep saying I am going to get myself a Katie Loxton bag however, I get overwhelmed and don't end up getting one. I am hoping I can finally find a bag that is best suited to the style I am opting for in 2026 that isn't going to cost me a small fortune. I am so used to just throwing everything into a cheap backpack however, the upgrade is long overdue and it is time for something a whole lot smarter.

Move Money into Goal Shop Savings

I am determined to really build my savings amount in 2026 and with some of December's pay I want to make a start on building my goal shop savings. This amount is being built up so that when I hit my goal weight I can go out and buy an all new wardrobe without using all my wage for that month. With how things are going I might be able to have a full on shopping spree with the amount I have saved by the time I hit the goal weight and I should be able to purchase some great quality pieces with that money too.

Move Money into Watch Savings

There may be a watch purchase on the horizon for 2026 if things go to plan so I am going to start saving for it nice and early. This is going to be a big purchase and every spare penny will be going towards it so let's see if we can build these savings up and make the big purchase in 2026.

So there you go there is my December pay day wish list, let's see just what gets purchased and what I realise I don't need.

See you soon

My December 2025 Goals

Here we go the final month of the year and it is time to make it count. Things are changing in 2026 and this month is going to be used to build the foundations of those changes and get the ball rolling rather than starting on January the 1st, I may as well get a bit of a head start rather than losing any potential progress before the new year. So here are my goals for December...

Fashion

Buy some new loafers

2026 is going to be the year I finally stop wearing trainers daily so to get a head start on this I would love to buy myself some new loafers that will work with the new style I am opting for. I am not sure what type of loafer I am wanting yet but I will be having a look around and hopefully making the purchase at some point this month.

Start planning the new work clothes I want to buy

My work wardrobe is getting a huge upgrade in 2026 too as I plan to really smarten myself up for the office. The plan for December is to sit down and look at what I need to purchase in the new year to help me get that smarter look, from this I will make a list to stick to purchasing so I am not buying items I don't require and hopefully all my purchases align going forward.

Finally sort out my wardrobe

This is a job that I have kept on putting off however, I am determined to go into the new year with a nicely organised wardrobe where I know exactly what I have and can easily access the items I require. This means finally getting the winter clothing out and packing those summer clothes away. I am hoping to get this done early on in the month so I can finally dress for the weather correctly.

Buy a new bag for work

The backpack is being retired in 2026 so I need a nice new bag for the new year. The plan is to reuse an old laptop for work going into the new year so this needs to be able to fit into my bag along with my other daily essentials which will also be getting a much needed upgrade for the new year. I am leaning towards a Katie Loxton one so let's see how this one plays out.

Find all the winter accessories

It is time to dig out all of the winter accessories I have had put away. Throughout December I want to make sure I am adding accessories to my outfits just to add another layer to what I am wearing. I am hoping that I can find all my nice scarves which I have barely worn and also my hats that seem to have disappeared. It is time for a cosy accessorized winter.

Fitness

Work towards being under 100 Kg

I want to end the year at my lowest weight of 2025 which will be anything under 101.4 Kg however, I really want to push myself to hit under 100 Kg to finally get into double digits weight wise. This would really set me up for going into 2026 with the motivation to push towards my overall goal weight and would give me a fantastic starting point if it was to work out. It is going to take a lot of work to achieve but I am determined to get as close to this one as possible even with everything going on this month.

Make more meals at home

We can finally make food at home as the kitchen is now in a usable state. The plan in December is to cook as many home cooked meals as possible to help me try reach that weight goal. Whilst we have had no kitchen the nutrition has gone right out the window with us relying mainly on takeaways. Now we have everything back in place though it is time to dial in and get eating good food once more.

Hit 8,000 steps a day

I am determined that I am going to hit this goal every single day. If I want to make progress towards my goals I need to really lock in and nail the basics and one of these is to make sure that I am getting those steps in. I am hoping I can hit these 8,000 steps comfortably each day this month so that I can have a look at increasing this number towards the start of 2026.

2 Strength training sessions a week as a minimum

As I keep on saying it is really time to lock in and try push to end the year on a high or should I say a low weight. I need to make sure that alongside my football I am getting into the gym to do a minimum of 2 strength sessions a week so that I can make some good progress and put my body through its paces and push towards dropping as much weight as possible.

Do a 1 Km run after all my gym sessions

After every session this month my goal is to run a minimum of 1 Km. I love the feeling after having a run so I want to end all my sessions with that extra bit of cardio which in turn should help me drop that weight and also improve my fitness for football. Who knows I may knock a bit more off my 1 Km time too if I am consistent with it.

Home

Complete the kitchen

I am determined to complete the kitchen this month so we don't have to worry about it in the new year. This space is certainly taking us a bit longer than we expected but the end is finally in sight and the transformation has been unbelievable. Once this is done it will be time to start looking at the next project for the new year.

Start to plan the work to the living room

Once the kitchen is done I am hoping we can have some time in December to make a start on planning the living room works as this will be the next room to undergo a transformation. This is going to be a bigger task than we first thought so the sooner we get planning the better.

Sort the shelves in the spare room

Things are going to be changing in the spare room in 2026 and I want to start making the smaller changes early on. At the moment the my shelves in here are covered in junk and Lego which really should be elsewhere so these are going to be cleared and I am going to start using the shelving space for things like my accessories and bags. This will be step one of turning the room into a bit more of a dressing room.

Start to plan the spare room makeover

The spare room just doesn't get used like it should so in 2026 I want to change this around and make it more functional. The plan is to have it as a dressing room / office space. Somewhere that I can get ready without a rush in a morning and also somewhere I can shut myself to work on content and projects distraction free. I am determined to get my use out of this room in the new year so it is time to plan that makeover.

Buy & build a new Lego display

As I said earlier I am planning on moving all my Lego out of the spare room and into the games room where it really belongs. The plan is to get a nice unit to fit all my builds on that fits in a small space by my desk so I can actually enjoy looking at what I have built rather than them being shut in a different room.

Life

Enjoy my time off work

Thanks to Christmas we get a few more days off work this month and my plan is to make the most of my time off and really enjoy it. My plan for the days off is to workout, game and work on content and just go at a slower pace than normal. The days off are much needed this time around and thanks to Liam working with me now he also gets the same time off so it will be nice just to spend that time together.

Create new logo for here

2026 is all about a fresh start and that is content wise too so I want to spend some time creating a new logo for here and social media so that come January the 1st we get that fresh start. This will include creating Instagram highlight covers and story backgrounds too. Things are upgrading in the new year so we might as well roll it over to here too.

Get ahead on January's content

I am determined to get ahead of myself for the new year so I will be using as much free time as possible this month to get to work on January's content for both the website and social media. If I can make a head start on the year things will be much easier when the new year actually rolls around so let's see how this one plays out shall we.

Finish sorting the relaunch of the gaming site

I feel like it is finally time to bring the gaming website back. After a year of being hit & miss posting and barely even have a chance to game I feel like I want to get back into it and put the time and effort into the site going forward. December is going to be all about prepping and planning ready for things to get underway in January.

So there you have it those are my goals for the month ahead. I am determined to make it a good one with me becoming a more productive version of myself to have a successful end to 2025. Now let's see how this one plays out...

What I am hoping to buy in this years Black Friday sales

The deals have begun which only means one thing... Black Friday is fast approaching. This got me thinking about what I am actually going to be on the hunt for on offer this time around as I am certainly not going to be buying for the sake of it like I normally do. This year I am going to be looking for items that are going to help me finish jobs around the house or are going to help me towards those goals I have been setting for myself. So here are the items I am going to be looking out for...

A Coffee Machine

Our coffee station is missing one of the most important things... a coffee machine. I am on the hunt for a Nespresso machine for the space as I have so many flavours I am missing having since our last machine broke. One of these machines will be purchased either way however, if I can pick one up on sale then even better.

Heated Airer

I am trying to spend money on things around the house and one thing I am wanting to purchase is a heated airer. I have wanted one of these for a while now so that I am not having to use the dryer all the time and just to help speed up the drying process for those items that can't go in the dryer.

Beats Earphones

My current gym earphones don't sit in my ear properly on the treadmill and I will be honest it drives me absolutely insane as in my sessions I am spending more time putting them back into my ear than just getting on with what I need to do. I have had my eyes set on some Beats for a while now and I think now might finally be the time to make the purchase so let's hope I can find some at a good price this Black Friday.

Metcons

Also for the gym I am after some new footwear that is more suitable for the workouts I am doing. The pair of footwear I have had in mind is the Nike Metcons, these would be perfect as I am adding a lot more lifting into my sessions and I have heard good things about these shoes being suitable for those kinds of sessions. I might be able to find these in the a local Nike outlet however, these are usually cheap in the Black Friday deals.

Stanley Cup

I don't know if these will be on offer however, I am in the need of a new cup so I think an upgrade to a Stanley is due. I use these types of mugs daily so I know that I am going to get the use of it so the price doesn't really matter to me. My only issue is I am not sure what style or colour I am wanting.

A New Watch

I am really wanting to pick up a new watch in the Black Friday sales and a front runner at the moment is this one from Abbott Lyon. I just love the colours and it is perfect for what I am wanting as I want something a bit smaller and more elegant looking than what I currently own. I just don't want to be spending a fortune on this but I guess only time will tell if I pick one up or not.

Katie Loxton Bag

This bag has been on my wish list for a while and I am really hoping it gets put on offer in any Black Friday deals as my work bag needs a major upgrade and this one ticks all the boxes for what I am wanting. I have been searching for a new work bag for a while now so I think it might be time to make the purchase whether it is on offer or not.

A New Fragrance

My fragrance rotation is slowly running out which is quite surprising as I normally keep it well stocked. My fragrance taste is certainly changing lately though and it is time to start making the purchases that reflect the change. I know I usually get a nice bottle from Liam for Christmas so the hunt is on to find another nice bottle to treat myself to without breaking the bank.

So there you have it those are the only items I am on the hunt for during the Black Friday sales, as I say I am going to try stick to only buying off of this list as I don't need anything else and it is time to start saving rather than spending for the sake of it.

What are you hoping to purchase this Black Friday?

See you soon,

Lucy

It is time to start investing in my weight loss journey

My weight loss journey is now one of my biggest priorities as I am more determined than ever to get rid of this excess weight for good. With how long this journey has been going on I have been doubting myself and others have been doubting me so I am now more determined than ever to prove others and myself wrong and hit that big end goal. I have recently started a bit of a project where I am aiming to lose 30kg before my next holiday abroad. Hitting the 30kg by then would push me super close to my end goal and would be a great marker to show what I can achieve when I lock in properly. To get this journey underway properly I am going to be investing in different things in the hopes of them helping me achieve the results I am chasing...

My nutrition

A lot of my best results will come from changing my diet going forward. Previously it has been filled with takeaways, ready meals and a lack of anything healthy. Going forward I am going to be investing in the food I eat, I will be purchasing good quality fresh food with meat coming from our local farm shop, granted this will be more expensive but it is going to be much more beneficial. I will also be aiming for an ultra processed free diet where possible, by home cooking with the best ingredients my weight should start to drop and my body will feel much better. Takeaways will be reserved for special occasions and won't be anywhere near as frequent as they currently are and whilst I will still be going for meals out with family my aim is to pick better menu options and not those big greasy burgers.

Supplements

I struggle to get my protein in so where needed I will be taking clear whey protein to help me achieve these. I will also be having my energy gels when doing demanding workouts and football sessions as they really do keep me going. Then finally I am going to keep up to my vitamin stack daily as when I keep up with them my body really does thank me for it. The stack might change over time however, it will always include my daily multi-vitamins, vitamin D tablets and magnesium for an evening.

Sleep

Sleep is going to play a massive part of this journey as recovery is key so I want to make sure I am putting some money into this area going forward. At the moment out curtains let in a bit of light so the plan is to sort that issue out to blackout the room. A sunrise alarm is also on the list to buy so I can wake up naturally without the harsh alarm sound I currently have. My mattress could also use a bit of an upgrade so a nice comfortable mattress topper is currently being hunted down. Finally in the sleep category it is time to upgrade my pillows. My old ones just don't cut it any more and it is time to change that and get the pillows that will help me have a good nights sleep.

Recovery

Recovery is going to be key as I up the amount of exercise I do, I want to make sure I am not going to cause myself any injuries and that my body is in top condition. The massage gun is going to be added into a daily routine to ensure any little niggles are kept at bay. I am going to get the ice bath set back up too and I am going to try hit that daily, if not every other day as I feel so much better when I have been in here. Recovery days are also going to be on the cards, maybe every quarter going forward, a day off work spent in a spa... I can't really think of anything better. The plan is to have a sports massage every few months too as I know these work wonders with my body and I deserve it.

The gym

I am going to make sure I have the best level of membership possible at my gym and make the most of it. I am planning on starting off going two times a week and then slowly building up the amount of sessions I do. I will also be heading to the sauna that is in the gym as part of my recovery & also taking up swimming a few times a week to help my cardio. It is about time I made the most of my gym membership so let's do this.

New Equipment

Unfortunately where I live if the weather turns it turns and we can have snow when villages next to us don't have it. Luckily I still have my home gym for when I can't get to the actual gym however, the equipment in here isn't the best so going forward I am thinking of upgrading some of the items I have in the home gym to make sure I can progress with the exercises I do.

So there you go those are a few of the things I am going to start investing in going forward in the hopes of keeping locked in and finally see some progress with weight dropping off me to help me towards that big end goal. It is time for less talking now and more doing so let's go...

See you soon,

Lucy

I am setting myself some big goals for the next 10 years

I have noticed lately that I am reflecting on life a lot whilst also thinking about how I would love my life to look in the future. I definitely want to work on completely transforming my life and creating a life of luxury, it really is time to stop just dreaming it and time to start creating that life I want. If I really knuckled down and stopped procrastinating then this honestly could become a reality it is just getting over that procrastination something I am terrible at. I know that I do well when I set myself goals so today's post is going to be all about those goals I am setting myself to achieve within the next 10 years. I am giving myself 10 years as I know a lot of these are huge long term goals but let's just knuckle down and see what happens shall we. So here are those goals...

Be in the best shape ever

I am determined to work on my physical health over the next 10 years to really be in the best shape possible. This means spending time in the gym, playing football, running and maybe even taking up other events to really help me get in peak shape. It also means that I am going to be putting a whole lot of effort into my nutrition going forward making sure I am eating the right foods to fuel my body properly.

Create a fragrance collection

I am all for a good fragrance lately and over the next 10 years the goal is to create the perfect collection for all occasions. I want to invest in my fragrances and not buy cheap ones that don't last long on the skin & I want to find the perfect fragrance for day to day which gives that luxury feel. The goal is certainly to have a core base of fragrances to reach for that suit me perfectly.

Build a watch collection

The next 10 years are going to be spent building up a collection I have wanted to build for a long time.... a watch collection. I love a good watch and I am at the stage in life now where I want to work hard and save up to get some of the watches that I have always dreamt of owning. My Tag Formula 1 from my parents for my 30th started this collection but now it is time to build on it.

Build the perfect wardrobe

I will be finding my personal style within the next few years so by the time we get to the end of the the 10 years for these goals I am hoping I have the perfect wardrobe that matches my lifestyle and that life I have created for myself. I am hoping that in the next 10 years I will have a whole room as a dressing room split into sections such as work wear, day to day wear, active wear and going out clothing alongside jewellery & those watch & fragrance collections. I am determined to have this done nice and early on in those 10 years but let's see how that goes

Extend the house or move

In the next 10 years I want to either extend the house or move into somewhere that I would consider my dream home. That dream home is on the market right now and I so wish we could afford it but we will see where we are in the next 10 years to see if something like that is possible. At the same time though we really like where we are now and we have the space to extend so maybe we might go down that route. I would love to build a permanent structure for the home gym so it is a bit more secure and then extend the house out to the side to create a few more rooms which could create a dedicated office space, wardrobe, spare room for the nephew honestly the possibilities are endless where we are now and as I say we do like where we currently are but a lot can change in 10 years.

Travel a whole lot more

Me and my mum went abroad in 2025 for the first time in years and I have caught the bug. My goal for the next 10 years is to increase how much I travel so I can see more of the UK and the world in general. I would love to go abroad a few times a year and also have multiple staycations within the UK with Liam and the dog. I definitely need to increase my income to allow for this so it is time to knuckle on down.

Own my dream car

I am committing to it and I am saying within the next 10 years I will own one of my dream cars, either a Jeep Wrangler or a Land Rover Defender. I am leaning towards a Wrangler at the moment but again a lot can change in 10 years however, I really want to knuckle down and achieve this one ASAP. Granted I don't drive as much as I should due to driving anxiety however, I am slowly getting over this and increasing my mileage. The goal is to get over the anxiety and be driving round in my dream car in no time. These definitely aren't cheap though and are going to take a lot of saving for but I am sure I can do it.

Have £50,000 in personal savings

Granted I would love for this to be a higher number however, with everything else in this post I think that for 10 years this is a realistic savings goal. This would give me more than enough as a safety net i things went wrong for any reason and would help me keep on pushing to go above and beyond where I am now. I have high hopes of hitting this within the 10 year time frame.

Build my socials

I know you can't always rely on social media however, I am going to be spending a lot of time going forward to build up my existing social accounts and any others that are going to come along in the future as you don't know what is still going to be around in those 10 years or what else is going to pop up. I want to build the accounts up to be something to be proud of and that represent the hard work put in over the years so let's see how this goes.

Build TNG Media

It is time to stop procrastinating and get things moving properly with TNG Media this is something I want to turn into a full time venture eventually so it is time to sit down, create business plan and get working out how to grow the idea. In the next 10 years I want to be at the stage where this is my biggest money earner and potential have some employees. It is really time to knuckle down and see what we can do with this in 10 years.

So there you have it the next 10 years are going to be all about creating that life I have only ever being able to dream of. It is going to be a lot of locking in and focusing on aspects of life to achieve these goals but it is certainly all going to be worth it in the end. Now let's lock in and start working towards these at long last...

See you soon
