It is time to start investing in my weight loss journey

My weight loss journey is now one of my biggest priorities as I am more determined than ever to get rid of this excess weight for good. With how long this journey has been going on I have been doubting myself and others have been doubting me so I am now more determined than ever to prove others and myself wrong and hit that big end goal. I have recently started a bit of a project where I am aiming to lose 30kg before my next holiday abroad. Hitting the 30kg by then would push me super close to my end goal and would be a great marker to show what I can achieve when I lock in properly. To get this journey underway properly I am going to be investing in different things in the hopes of them helping me achieve the results I am chasing...

My nutrition

A lot of my best results will come from changing my diet going forward. Previously it has been filled with takeaways, ready meals and a lack of anything healthy. Going forward I am going to be investing in the food I eat, I will be purchasing good quality fresh food with meat coming from our local farm shop, granted this will be more expensive but it is going to be much more beneficial. I will also be aiming for an ultra processed free diet where possible, by home cooking with the best ingredients my weight should start to drop and my body will feel much better. Takeaways will be reserved for special occasions and won't be anywhere near as frequent as they currently are and whilst I will still be going for meals out with family my aim is to pick better menu options and not those big greasy burgers.

Supplements

I struggle to get my protein in so where needed I will be taking clear whey protein to help me achieve these. I will also be having my energy gels when doing demanding workouts and football sessions as they really do keep me going. Then finally I am going to keep up to my vitamin stack daily as when I keep up with them my body really does thank me for it. The stack might change over time however, it will always include my daily multi-vitamins, vitamin D tablets and magnesium for an evening.

Sleep

Sleep is going to play a massive part of this journey as recovery is key so I want to make sure I am putting some money into this area going forward. At the moment out curtains let in a bit of light so the plan is to sort that issue out to blackout the room. A sunrise alarm is also on the list to buy so I can wake up naturally without the harsh alarm sound I currently have. My mattress could also use a bit of an upgrade so a nice comfortable mattress topper is currently being hunted down. Finally in the sleep category it is time to upgrade my pillows. My old ones just don't cut it any more and it is time to change that and get the pillows that will help me have a good nights sleep.

Recovery

Recovery is going to be key as I up the amount of exercise I do, I want to make sure I am not going to cause myself any injuries and that my body is in top condition. The massage gun is going to be added into a daily routine to ensure any little niggles are kept at bay. I am going to get the ice bath set back up too and I am going to try hit that daily, if not every other day as I feel so much better when I have been in here. Recovery days are also going to be on the cards, maybe every quarter going forward, a day off work spent in a spa... I can't really think of anything better. The plan is to have a sports massage every few months too as I know these work wonders with my body and I deserve it.

The gym

I am going to make sure I have the best level of membership possible at my gym and make the most of it. I am planning on starting off going two times a week and then slowly building up the amount of sessions I do. I will also be heading to the sauna that is in the gym as part of my recovery & also taking up swimming a few times a week to help my cardio. It is about time I made the most of my gym membership so let's do this.

New Equipment

Unfortunately where I live if the weather turns it turns and we can have snow when villages next to us don't have it. Luckily I still have my home gym for when I can't get to the actual gym however, the equipment in here isn't the best so going forward I am thinking of upgrading some of the items I have in the home gym to make sure I can progress with the exercises I do.

So there you go those are a few of the things I am going to start investing in going forward in the hopes of keeping locked in and finally see some progress with weight dropping off me to help me towards that big end goal. It is time for less talking now and more doing so let's go...

See you soon,

I am setting myself some big goals for the next 10 years

I have noticed lately that I am reflecting on life a lot whilst also thinking about how I would love my life to look in the future. I definitely want to work on completely transforming my life and creating a life of luxury, it really is time to stop just dreaming it and time to start creating that life I want. If I really knuckled down and stopped procrastinating then this honestly could become a reality it is just getting over that procrastination something I am terrible at. I know that I do well when I set myself goals so today's post is going to be all about those goals I am setting myself to achieve within the next 10 years. I am giving myself 10 years as I know a lot of these are huge long term goals but let's just knuckle down and see what happens shall we. So here are those goals...

Be in the best shape ever

I am determined to work on my physical health over the next 10 years to really be in the best shape possible. This means spending time in the gym, playing football, running and maybe even taking up other events to really help me get in peak shape. It also means that I am going to be putting a whole lot of effort into my nutrition going forward making sure I am eating the right foods to fuel my body properly.

Create a fragrance collection

I am all for a good fragrance lately and over the next 10 years the goal is to create the perfect collection for all occasions. I want to invest in my fragrances and not buy cheap ones that don't last long on the skin & I want to find the perfect fragrance for day to day which gives that luxury feel. The goal is certainly to have a core base of fragrances to reach for that suit me perfectly.

Build a watch collection

The next 10 years are going to be spent building up a collection I have wanted to build for a long time.... a watch collection. I love a good watch and I am at the stage in life now where I want to work hard and save up to get some of the watches that I have always dreamt of owning. My Tag Formula 1 from my parents for my 30th started this collection but now it is time to build on it.

Build the perfect wardrobe

I will be finding my personal style within the next few years so by the time we get to the end of the the 10 years for these goals I am hoping I have the perfect wardrobe that matches my lifestyle and that life I have created for myself. I am hoping that in the next 10 years I will have a whole room as a dressing room split into sections such as work wear, day to day wear, active wear and going out clothing alongside jewellery & those watch & fragrance collections. I am determined to have this done nice and early on in those 10 years but let's see how that goes

Extend the house or move

In the next 10 years I want to either extend the house or move into somewhere that I would consider my dream home. That dream home is on the market right now and I so wish we could afford it but we will see where we are in the next 10 years to see if something like that is possible. At the same time though we really like where we are now and we have the space to extend so maybe we might go down that route. I would love to build a permanent structure for the home gym so it is a bit more secure and then extend the house out to the side to create a few more rooms which could create a dedicated office space, wardrobe, spare room for the nephew honestly the possibilities are endless where we are now and as I say we do like where we currently are but a lot can change in 10 years.

Travel a whole lot more

Me and my mum went abroad in 2025 for the first time in years and I have caught the bug. My goal for the next 10 years is to increase how much I travel so I can see more of the UK and the world in general. I would love to go abroad a few times a year and also have multiple staycations within the UK with Liam and the dog. I definitely need to increase my income to allow for this so it is time to knuckle on down.

Own my dream car

I am committing to it and I am saying within the next 10 years I will own one of my dream cars, either a Jeep Wrangler or a Land Rover Defender. I am leaning towards a Wrangler at the moment but again a lot can change in 10 years however, I really want to knuckle down and achieve this one ASAP. Granted I don't drive as much as I should due to driving anxiety however, I am slowly getting over this and increasing my mileage. The goal is to get over the anxiety and be driving round in my dream car in no time. These definitely aren't cheap though and are going to take a lot of saving for but I am sure I can do it.

Have £50,000 in personal savings

Granted I would love for this to be a higher number however, with everything else in this post I think that for 10 years this is a realistic savings goal. This would give me more than enough as a safety net i things went wrong for any reason and would help me keep on pushing to go above and beyond where I am now. I have high hopes of hitting this within the 10 year time frame.

Build my socials

I know you can't always rely on social media however, I am going to be spending a lot of time going forward to build up my existing social accounts and any others that are going to come along in the future as you don't know what is still going to be around in those 10 years or what else is going to pop up. I want to build the accounts up to be something to be proud of and that represent the hard work put in over the years so let's see how this goes.

Build TNG Media

It is time to stop procrastinating and get things moving properly with TNG Media this is something I want to turn into a full time venture eventually so it is time to sit down, create business plan and get working out how to grow the idea. In the next 10 years I want to be at the stage where this is my biggest money earner and potential have some employees. It is really time to knuckle down and see what we can do with this in 10 years.

So there you have it the next 10 years are going to be all about creating that life I have only ever being able to dream of. It is going to be a lot of locking in and focusing on aspects of life to achieve these goals but it is certainly all going to be worth it in the end. Now let's lock in and start working towards these at long last...

See you soon

November 2025 Goals

I am determined to make November a very good month where I really knuckle down to make the end of 2025 a good one. November is going to be the starting block for building the foundations of 2026 which is hopefully going to be a year of becoming a much better me. So here are my goals for the month ahead...

Fashion

Use the clothes rail in the spare room for the right reasons

The clothes rail in the spare room is currently filled with items that don't need to be there and that is going to change in November. I am going to go through the rail & even the shoe racks underneath this month and remove any items that don't belong here & start a fresh. The new use for this rail is going to be split. It will be half for new in pieces for content and the other half will be my outfits for the week ahead so I can get ready much easier each day.

Buy a new pair of trainers

I am really hoping to pick up a new pair of trainers this month. Something a little smarter to what I normally have that aren't going to break the bank but will be comfortable. Luckily there are going to be plenty of Black Friday month deals going on throughout November so hopefully I can pick up a pair for a steal.

Buy a new accessory

It is time to get myself a nice new accessory for the months ahead. I can't decide whether I want a nice necklace or a new scarf. Either way though I will be treating myself to one or the other items and hopefully upgrade my outfits with whatever I end up picking. I won't be breaking the bank with this purchase but I will be making sure it fits the style I am opting for.

Put more effort into my outfits

I am determined to use some time to actually plan my outfits for the week ahead rather than just throwing on any old clothing when I am in a rush on a morning. Even an hour on a Saturday could really help with this and really help me feel much more put together day to day, plus the outfits could then go on the clothing rail ready for me to get ready each morning.

Find a new coat

A new coat is high on the priority list as my current smart ones no longer fit. I have actually seen quite a few that I like on the New Look website so I think I am going to have a trip down and see which fits best and which looks the best for the style I am aiming for. I just don't want to spend a fortune on this as it won't fit me this time next year.

Fitness

Workout three times a week

I am really locking in throughout November as I am determined to be at a new low weight by the end of the year. I need to really increase my workouts if I want to make a real difference so the aim for November is to get three sessions a week completed and to really push myself in those sessions. With the gym now being open again I should definitely smash this goal.

Try not to over do the takeaways

Now this one is going to be difficult as we aren't going to have a kitchen for the majority of November however, if I want the weight to drop I need to ensure I am trying to stay on track with my nutrition. I think the plan is going to be having a big healthy lunch at work and then just something smaller for my tea when I am home. I just can't wait for the kitchen to be done now though as the house is a mess and there are so many meals I want to try make.

Restart the couch to 5k

My running has more or less completely stopped lately and it is time to change that as I actually quite enjoy running. The plan is to restart the couch to 5k app this month to get back into building my fitness and endurance and hopefully make some good progress towards maybe completing the app before the end of the year. I am actually really looking forward to doing this one.

Add items to the gym bag

It is time to go to the gym prepared and the plan is to add items to my gym bag to help me in the sessions. The items going in will be a knee brace so I know I always have one, a pair of earphones and some electrolytes and a protein shake for after my sessions. I will also be keeping some swimming bits in here too for when I fancy a swim after my session, something I plan on doing more often.

Take my vitamins daily

I am trying to get back into the habit of taking my vitamins daily in the attempt of it helping me on my fitness & weight loss journey. When I am consistent in taking my vitamins I feel so much better and see an increase in my energy levels so I am aiming for a month of taking them daily to hopefully see a difference.

Home

Get as close to finishing the kitchen as possible

The kitchen work has slowed down a bit at the moment however, I want this space to be as complete as possible before the end of the month. I am hoping that by the final day of the month I can say that the cupboards are in, appliances are in and the new ceiling has been sorted. If all the tiling has been done too then that is an extra bonus but we shall see how things go.

Sort the spare room

Every time I enter the spare room I get overwhelmed as it has become such a cluttered space. The plan is to do this one Saturday when I have no other plans so I can just crack on with it. I will be moving all Lego out of here and making it more of a dressing room/office area, that clothes rail is getting cleared and any junk is finally getting thrown out. There is no need for this room to be as it is so it is time to change that.

Get all the Christmas decorations sorted

I have decided to change our Christmas theme again this year so in November I want to get all the new pieces for the decorating which I am determined to do as close to the 1st of December this year. We are going down the more traditional route this time around and I already know I am going to be spending a fair bit in Home Bargains & B&M to create the perfect look.

Finish off as much of the dining room as possible

Once all the kitchen boxes are out of the dining room it is time to get this space as complete as possible. This means finally adding some pictures to one of the walls and making sure the light actually has bulbs in it. Once this is done we just need to buy a coffee machine and decide if we are adding a shelf to that area and the room is finally done.

Start making a list of jobs to do in 2026

We have got loads done around the house in 2025 and we want to keep momentum going into next year so I want us to sit down for an hour or so during the month and make a list of things we would like to get done before the end of 2026. Most of the jobs will be expensive ones but if we get saving properly there should be no issues with getting a big chunk of work done.

Life

Start wrapping Christmas gifts

I am not leaving things until last minute like I have in previous years and I am planning on wrapping as many gifts as I can in November. I will probably start on the nephews first as I have his Santa sack at the ready and then slowly work my way through other family members. At least I can take stock of what I have for each member too so I know if any other purchases need making or if they are done.

Don't touch my savings

I have been terrible lately for dipping into my savings so in November my plan is to change that and once something has gone into savings it stays there. No taking money out for the sake of it and try to stick to a budget again. Most Christmas shopping is done and I don't plan on going out all the time so I have no reason to be spending so much.

Read a book

I am determined to finish another book by the end of the month. I haven't read anything since my holiday in September but now it is time to change that. The plan is to finally finish the book sat on my bedside table as it has been there for about 8 months now and shouldn't take too long to complete.

Keep up to posting on this site

The plan for November is to be super consistent on here as I have so many ideas I want to post. The content is going to be a nice mix of what is important in my life right now and what goals I am aiming for so we shall see how things go. I am getting right back into creating content so this should be fun to do.

Have a meal out with Liam

I am determined to get out for a nice meal with Liam this month. We keep saying we will go for one and then end up talking ourselves out of it. There are so many great places to eat near us now and it is time we put ourselves first and treat ourselves. Do we go for Italian or Indian first though?

So there you go those are my goals for the month of November let's hope we manage to report back at the end of the month to plenty of these being achieved.

See you soon
